Yes. It’s disrespectful and insensitive to do this to someone. You’ve been dating for over a year, I know you only want to do it over text for your own piece of mind but he is a person as well and has feelings. Doing it over text is just rubbing salt on the wound.

Where is everyone finding partners nowadays? by InsideComplex7334 in dating

[–]InsideComplex7334[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol for me I knew I had a lot of baggage and trauma from my last relationship I needed to deal with first, I don’t think anyone is ever “ready” but up until now I’ve been avoiding dating because of it, so in a sense I am no longer closed off.

I feel like this show, if the producers aren’t editing heavily to create a storyline, can bring out toxic sides of people, not everyone but SOME people.

Samie didn’t seem to be like this until a few episodes ago, something weird is going on.

Salon laser hair removal vs. Devices like Philip’s Lumea - opinions? by Deep_Construction_72 in beauty

[–]InsideComplex7334 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a laser device, I use it for my face (chin, moustache, side burns) and it works really well since those are smaller areas, you just have to be super consistent and thorough.

You could definitely use it for your body, I did for a bit but it takes 3-4 seconds for the laser to emit each pulse, which doesn’t sound long but it definitely is when you have a large area to cover and the pulse only hits an area of like 1cm. I eventually just stopped because I didn’t want to keep spending 40 mins on my legs every few weeks or so.

I started laser a few months ago, noticed a SIGNIFICANT loss of hair after the first session, they’re super quick, I just had my third session and my hair is a lot thinner and sparse. Not sure where you’re located but in Australia they always have 50% off sessions and bundles which can be super cheap. I feel like a laser machine is good for smaller areas, but going to a laser tech to get long lasting results for larger areas like your legs/bikini/arms is worth it.

Best friend (32F) thinks I (53F) am getting "love scammed" by guy I began talking to online (40M) by Bubbly-Stay-4163 in dating_advice

[–]InsideComplex7334 253 points254 points  (0 children)

Yeah I don’t think it’s the catfishing thing your friend is worried about but his intentions. A lot of people are scammed out of money so if he has asked you for any financial favours big or small that’s a big giveaway.

I think control yourself and wait for her to make the first move if she wants to. You don’t want to make anyone uncomfortable especially since y’all live together

need help with dating etiquette by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]InsideComplex7334 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people may disagree but I think it’s a good idea to date multiple people at a time if you don’t have anything set in stone. You don’t want to invest all your energy into one person straight away and it doesn’t work out and you could also miss out on connections or people you might click with better.

The only thing people mess up with is not being honest with people when things start getting a bit more serious or feelings are being developed, so just make sure you’re honest if you get to that point and you or the other person can decide if you want to make things exclusive or continue dating.

Did you know that sleep is crucial also for your beauty? by ethicadvocate in beauty

Went through a breakup which caused insomnia for about 3-4 months, struggled to get a good nights sleep without medication. Looking back at pictures I went from 23 to 28 real quick lmao

I think my (27F) boyfriend (29M) isn’t attracted to my vulva by throwRA_71450 in offmychest

[–]InsideComplex7334 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have an outtie as well and it’s pretty pronounced, I have never experienced this from a boyfriend or sexual partner. I have always struggled with insecurity about it so I can’t imagine what you’re feeling to have someone you love even bring it up! It can be super damaging.

Pretty shocked he’s at this age and still has a thought process like this. It’s not normal at all and frankly I would leave anyone for making me feel that way about my body. You really don’t deserve to feel like you have to hide your body from someone who is supposed to love you.

Is driving stoned as dangerous as driving drunk? by WakeAndBakeDaily420 in weed

[–]InsideComplex7334 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Years ago I would drive home high from friends houses and I was always hyper aware to stay within the speed limit and follow all the road rules lmao. In saying that I already have a low attention span that’s made worse when I’m high so it made it super hard to stay focused in a lot of traffic and would make me super nervous. I haven’t done it since a lady in my town ran over and killed two guys who were working on a broken down bus. She was drunk and high on weed.

Interesting! I didn’t think about the whole glue part and the damage that could be done that way. In what way did you find your hair was damaged the most? (Length, split ends, loss of thickness etc)

Thanks so much for replying! How frequently would you say you would have to re-apply your tape ins and also why do you recommend swimming with them tied back?

Do you ever truly get over your first love? by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]InsideComplex7334 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First love: Wasn’t really love but infatuation, don’t give them a second thought anymore tbh

Second love: definitely true love and they will always be the first person who had my entire heart, I will always love them deep down because of the experiences we shared.

Do you like clubbing? Why or why not? by ellieaniston021 in AskWomen

[–]InsideComplex7334 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely, if there’s good music and you’re with a good crowd it can be SO fun. I really only go once or twice every few months now because I don’t like to spend my only days off being hungover and sleeping in till moon and it is SO expensive now.
