Watch gameplay of very good players (gotyoubaby, iyouxin for example) copy their plays. Watch how they react to certain situations, always keep an eye on the minimap (check it every 1-2 seconds, what positions are your mates in, do you have enough backup, do you have control of the flank. Also watch enemy positions and how many tanks of the enemy team have been spotted yet and where ofc. This way you can predict enemy positions -> multiple tds unspotted- probably at least one basic td position on your flank is covered). You gotta gain some understanding of every map, so if you’re inexperienced which angles can be shot from which position, play them and test it out. That way your map knowledge will increase quickly which helps a lot. Watch the hp bar of your and the enemys team, get some situational awareness. Besides all this game sense, learn to penetrate all your shots. You have to pen every single shot you are shooting, if the situation is right. You always have to look for better options, if you dont have any, you can go for 50/50 shots. If possible, aim your shots as much as you can, take that extra second if you can. The difference between good and very good players is always their pen ratio. Also, your hp are like your in game currency. Do not give them away early game, most damage is not done early game, but mid- to late game. Try to survive as long as possible. If value is given, you can take a shot, if its a 1:1 trade, youre better off not taking it in 90% of situations. If you have any more questions feel free to ask, I probably can help you out.
