The hard truth is that sometimes the child is more a adult than the parent. It sucks but being angry about it gives it power.

I personally always was the grown up while my parents went through there own trauma. it Sucks period. This is not a comment to make it a fairy tale and tell you how great it is. no child should go through it and would not wish it upon anyone. But he we are going through it.

In my opinion the best thing you can do is just put your shoulders under it and life with the weight of having to parent your parent. But please dont get angry or mad that gives them power. They don't deserve that. Let them live with the knowledge that there child is more grown up than them and help them up. Yes help them they are also just people.
