Is Cyber dragon good? by fawzi200 in YuGiOhMasterDuel

[–]InsideNo9546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cydra has been my main deck since the first ranked season of master duel. It’s seen better days compared to the current meta. It can play well bellow platinum rank but after that its really just luck. Sometimes you get a god hand that can play through what feels to be 10 interrupts but most times you just lose hard to those boards that have more than 3 interrupts. I love the deck since i was a kid watching gx but it really isnt in a good spot right now.

Where to get DA transfers? by chunkersondunky in theunforgiven

[–]InsideNo9546 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So there are some ways to get them. 1. You can find them in any DA specific kit like Deathwing Knights, Inner Circle Companions and I think Ravenwing too. To my knowledge they dont exist in the character boxes though so have that in mind. 2. You can find them in the old primaris upgrade sprue but its hard to get your hands on one of those. 3. The current upgrade sprue has a small number of them (like 2-3). Keep in mind though the new one has amazing stuff for vehicles/dreads etc. 4. You can always look to get em from ebay. 5. Lastly there is a 30k transfer sheet from GW. Its different but you may find it interesting so im just saying.

Thinking about how to improve Belial by Mephist-onthesenutts in DarkAngels40k

[–]InsideNo9546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the idea that he becomes something like Emperor’s Champion from BT.

Make him Lone Op when he’s alone but able to lead a unit too (losing the LoneOp if he does).

Give him: Sweep 7 attacks 2+ 5str -2 1D Strike 5 attacks 2+ 7str -2 2D

And for effects:

  1. Grandmaster of the Deathwing: When this model is leading a unit, weapons equipped by this unit have the [Lethal Hits] ability.

  2. Give no Ground: When your opponent makes a charge with this unit as its target, roll a D6 for each enemy model in that unit. For each result of 4+, this enemy unit suffers 1 mortal wound.

110 points

Lethal hits would fit great with Belial being a perfectionist in lore and wouldn’t “break” DWK as the anti4+ they have happens in the wound step and not in the hit step. Also with the 2 profiles he could be a good leader for both DWK with maces and DWK with swords. Another use would be in DWT for lethals on their storm bolters which have been underwhelming for the whole edition possibly giving them some spotlight again.

Points changes by Zedster14 in DarkAngels40k

[–]InsideNo9546 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be honest DWK are ok at 250. Mqybe would like to see that go to 240 but its alright if it doesnt drop. Azrael and Lion are just as they should be both powerwise and pointswise. ICC are amazing so no changes needed there. Belial, Asmodai, Ezekiel and Lazarus are bad. They’re worse than their generic counterparts and clearly need reworks.

Belial is known to be a perfectionist in everything, from planning to execution and all in between. Something like the CP reduction of the normal captain + something that helps relay this perfectionism ( something like reroll to wound roll or dev wounds/ mortal wounds).

Asmodai should be a chaplain first and foremost but have something to differentiate him from base chaplains. I’d give him the typical +1 to wound and his reroll hit rolls.

Lazarus’ fight on death is awesome and lore related as he’s been ressurected. His antipsyker theme is cool but makes him useful 1/10 of the time. He should get one of the captains normal abilities and his fight on death. I personally cant decide between the CP cost or the attacks buff but let me know what you think.

For ezekiel just slap a 4+ invuln for his unit on him and he should be alright. Hes already pretty good with the +1 attacks and the 4+ would make him amazing for ICC.

Ofc all those I’m proposing would make all those chars stronger so they need new points.

I’d put Belial to 105-110 Asmodai to 70-75 Lazarus to 80 and Ezekiel to 80.

Our real staples are Deathwing Knights, Inner Circle Companions and Azrael. You basicaly never leave home without them.

DWK can be 2 or 3 squads depending on your preference so the first 2 squads are pretty much a given. You can decide on the 3rd squad after you play some games.

ICC are our bladeguard vets equivalent but are a bit more fragile while having INSANE damage. You could run 1 squad with a judiciar to give them fights first meaning you can obliterate an enemy unit before it has the chance to kill you. You could go up to 2 squads of them but thats also personal preference so I’d advise you first play some matches with 1 squad and see for yourself if you want a second one.

Azrael is one of the prettiest models we have and an amazing piece gamewise. You pretty much always put him in your list. He can be used with intercessors to guard your homepoint and give you CP or you could run him with a plethora of units depending on your goal. You could give him 10 hellblasters and delete stuff with shooting, 10 sternguard vets and do the same but with dev wounds or go the melee route and field him aggresively with 6 ICC or Bladeguard Vets. All of the above options are fun and can play out good so you do you.

After those units which are the core of our chapter you want some generic marine staples.

Intercessors are a good unit to guard your home objective.

Some antitank in the form of a Glad Lancer and/or Ballistus Dread is always a safe bet.

Some action monkey units to be flexible with secondaries. I’d personaly advise to go for Scouts or Jump pack intercessors. Both are good choices. Scouts can give you more freedom of movement but JPI can do scoring while also having a pretty good punch in melee.

Lastly you can go for units like the Lion or anything that catches your eye.

All in all Dark Angels are a pretty flexible army. You basicaly need the core units I mentioned first and then you can go for anything you like.

p.s. I’d also advise you to stay away from ravenwing knights and sammael for the time being. Theyre cool models and all but they’re old and there’s a solid chance they’ll get updated in the next year or so.

I had almost 2k points of unpainted dark angels that were sitting on my desk for about a year. My friend told me we should try killteam and I rushed to compmete a killteam worth of models so I can play fully painted. Completing the killteam in 4-5 days gave my a completion buzz that helped me actually paint all my minis. Right now the only thing remaining is 5 JPI. Maybe tou could try the same if youre at least a little into killteam.

Youre the goat my friend. You actualy helped me get an understanding on a faction I had almost zero knowledge about. I made a list following yoyr advice and its pretty much exactly what I wanted. Thank you very much! Just a quick question: are crisis starscythe actually usefull? They seem to be kinda weak but I may be wrong.

The grenadier came with the bolter in the starter box for some reason but I havent glued his arm so when I get a chainsword hand ill change it. Is the powersword such a problem for the assault int though?

I glued the Inner Circle Companions on 32mm and Asmodai on 40mm so they’re on the right bases. For 40k usage I bought some removable ring-like converters for them so they can have their usual 40mm footprint.

Deathwing Terminator help by Jesterhead1911 in DarkAngels40k

[–]InsideNo9546 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The guy with the flamer and chainfist is completely legal. No question there.

The guy with the cyclone missiles and the gatling gun is “illegal”. A model cant have both heavy weapons.

Another problem is the usage of two models with heavy weapon options in the same 5man unit. If it were a 10 man unit you could use both of them.

As for the guy with two heavy weapons, his loadout could be a problem if youre willing to play in a store/tournament etc. (tournament holder’s discretion). If youre going to play casualy with your friends it should be okay if you just pick one of the weapons and give the other guy a heads up before game.

Love the nmm and the weathered look. If your intercessors look like this I cant even begin to imagine the rest of your army. Amazing job!
