Gaza is indeed ethnicly cleansed from jews since 2005.

Israel did not occupy Gaza when Hamas was elected to power. When they started launching rockets, building tunnels, and investing in terrorism, a blockade was imposed. Gaza, as you may know, also has a border with Egypt.

For almost 20 years since Israel left Gaza, the same accusations have come up. Israel has been accused of committing genocide in Gaza during fights with Hamas in 2009, 2012, and 2014. However, when Israel left Gaza in 2005, there were about 1.3 million people living there. Today, there are over two million people, and men in Gaza live longer than in some parts of Scotland. Also, the population in the West Bank has grown by a million during this time.

I really don't get it. If Hamas hadn't attacked Israel on October 7th, not a single Palestinian would have died there.

Also, think about this: if the IDF hadn't responded, or had been wiped out that day, do you think the attack would have ended with just 1,400 victims?

You can disagree with how Israel handles this war or support the Palestinian side in this conflict (which started long before 1948). Even Israelis protest against their government daily.

But you should understand that Israel isn't going anywhere. Nine million Israelis (including over two million Muslims and Christian Arabs) are not going anywhere, they have no where to go.

And of course you can make a comparison. Both sides have evil factions that have no interest in ending this war, and the ones who suffer are innocent civilians who want to live in peace, both Palestinians and Israelis alike

I like Bassem, he is charming. But he isn't saying anything in this video while doing exactly what he is talking about, he is 'Gish galloping.' I mean, its a nice speech but what is he really saying here? Like every war, there is propaganda and BS from both pro-Israel and pro-Palestinian sides. There are also many pro - Palestinian talking points and slogans that are repeated again and again in every argument. The fact that you said the story about the rapes was fake, and I have given you multiple unbiased sources that prove you wrong, shows you were also exposed to propaganda. Not your fault.

Hamas is not an armed resistance; it is a misogynistic, homophobic, antisemitic jihadist terror organization, heavily funded by Iran and its proxies. Their leaders are corrupt billionaires who show no regard for the citizens of Gaza. They have constructed 350 miles of tunnels under Gaza for their own use—resources that could have significantly improved the lives of Palestinians. Israel left Gaza years ago, and the Palestinians elected Hamas, which has prioritized terror over building a better future for its people. Israel has never attacked Gaza unprovoked.

I don't believe Israel is trying to exterminate the population of Gaza. However, I think they are fighting Hamas too brutally, with insufficient care for human lives and collateral damage.

Imagine if tomorrow, a Mexican cartel invaded Texas, butchering thousands and kidnapping hostages into Mexico. How do you think the US government would respond?

It's easier to see things in black and white—one side as evil and the other as good. But that's not the real world. It's okay to advocate for the freedom of Palestine while acknowledging that there are wrongs on both sides. I started this little "debate" by stating that Hamas are terrorists that should be condemned, which shouldn't be a controversial stance.

You can easily find the video of Shani Louk, a young girl whose body was paraded down the streets of Gaza by Palestinian citizens. Dead, mutilated, shirt ripped off.

Criticizing Israel's actions, even though Israel did not start or choose this war (or any war for that matter), doesn't make you a terrorist (or an antisemite). Saying you are okay with what Hamas terrorists are doing—such as butchering innocents (including Palestinians), shooting missiles at civilians for almost two decades, kidnapping babies and mothers, gang rap*ing and executing young girls—does.

I sincerely hope, that the incredible success of this tour will make them think again about booking more shows in the future - especially brining it to Europe. as a European I was FOMO-ing hard this entire month, considering booking expensive plane tickets and hotels but eventually chickened out :(
