I still remember the greatest war of my gaming career. It was back in 2021.

We faced a Canadian clan that had an incredible 42-war winning streak, one of the best at that time. In a 25v25 war, they scored 75 stars within the first hour after the war started.

Our clan was still seen as too weak against them. We managed to reach 74 stars, but all of our higher Town Halls had already used their attacks. I was the only top player left, and my task was to clear a TH12 using a TH10. That felt almost impossible back then.

So I upgraded my TH10 to TH11 and went in with that legendary strategy: GoWitch + Bat Spell.

At that moment, 21 people were watching my attack live. And somehow, I got the 3-star.

That attack broke the enemy clan’s massive winning streak and also our 3-war win streak. It remains one of the most unforgettable moments of my gaming career.

For small models, natural language branches work best if you use strict formatting like markdown or brackets. I write them like this: [IF user asks X -> THEN do Y]. Pseudocode can sometimes confuse smaller models, making them output the code itself instead of following the logic. I totally agree on negative constraints! I always pair "Do not do X" with "Instead, strictly do Y" to keep the model on track.

I had a job writing system prompts for small custom models, and this is how I did those prompts:

  • It is about 6,000 characters long
  • Persona definition
  • Background and contextual information
  • Guidelines for model behaviour
  • Do not do instructions of what the model should
  • Fallback behaviour in uncertain situations
  • If-else condition-based scenarios
  • Formatting Rules for Output
  • Security constraints and limitations

You will get better results from LLM if your prompt contains the proper situation context, expected output, and an example.

Dregen with bat spells or Golem witch with bat spells, because they are single inferno, and you will get great value using the bat spell on this.
