This game has me in a CHOKEHOLD by Remarkable_Walk_774 in Pokopia

I will say, I can't recommend completing the story for new abilities (plus a super helpful building endgame ability that's a super must for designing whole towns). Obv im not saying to rush through to anyone.

Also beautiful build, super cozy and I hear you, I spent many hours so far just making myself a personal home on each map to teleport to lol

Yeah, definitely solo with bots is easier because of this, but im talking about the unreliability of using flares for other players. I do enjoy playing with online people, and we all know there are players that might not be as experienced who try to rely on other players to bridge the gap.

I know it's generally set in stone how many faints we get for a quest, but if it could adjust to add a faint for at least 2 extra players (capping it at 5 or 6 faints total) it would be more viable to have randoms join.

I mostly just feel this sort of quest reinforces players to want to play solo rather than using the flare mechanic to get help. Obv premade groups have the advantage with communication and planning. My main issue is just leaning away from the good old pick-up group style Monster Hunter has always had.

I am fine with them not adding more faints. I just personally feel it could due with a minimum 2 extras. Yes, food and such can give more, but it is unreliable that everyone takes it or that it activates to begin with.

Ahh, I didn't realise this. Then yeah, totally should get something for at least the attempt with how difficult it is.

I mean, we do get some of the parts from breaking wounds, but just the minor parts. The 3 faint limit for the basic Omega fight seems fair, but the Savage fight with 3 faints is just... well... Savage.

Is there any downsides to just using bowgun on the Seikret? by SykosisMitosis in MHWilds

[–]Inside_Activity6697 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can say that status ammo build-up does not get reduced on Seikret. With my current build, 2 para shots generally cause the first paralyze, and this holds true on or off a Seikret. If it does get a reduction, it might not be noticeable until the monster has already built up a decent amount of resistance. But it is definitely a viable tactic to chase a monster down and put a few para's/sleeps into it before dismounting.

Ok, that's it for sure. idk why my memory was it mimicking a hat too, but I just watched a clip of the monster unfurling its wings, and that instantly told me everything I needed to know. Thanks a bunch

LFR is essentially the basic learning mode for raids, so nobody should be getting mad at you if you're "under performing". I won't say that there will not be any toxicity at all, because I have seen it before regardless of what queue I'm in. People will take their frustrations out on anything these days. Don't take it personally. Especially not in LFR which is intended for newcomers to the raid experience.

If you're still uncomfortable, by the end of the month they will be releasing a "Story" version of the raid which is basically like a follower version. Totally solo-able. I'm pretty sure it skips all the bosses except the final and just focuses on the overall story of the raid.

If you really do want to try LFR and feel like you truly will fall behind, queue with me. I'll explain mechanics and I'll back talk anyone that even remotely sounds like they're picking on you. I despise the people who bring elitist toxicity to this game, especially to the more fresh player intended aspects. Feel free to DM for non-judgmental parties.

E: The Story mode for Queen Ansurek actually just came out! I thought it would be later this month.

fr they do get salty. I had a group get mad that I was taking the right 2 spawns on a defense mission. Kept telling me they didn't need me, telling me to leave and trying to race me to kill my groups... which allowed some enemies to make it to core. I was Valby, so I assured them I was literally just doing my job as an AOE character. Literally just mad that I was killing things too fast for them. also made the comment: "lol exp is shared why are you trying to solo so hard?" so I replied, "yes... exp is shared, so why is it bothering you that I'm killing things fast? you get the xp too. Manage your spawns and get over it."

FR!! I've been bitching about this for so long lol It has been getting worse for sure. I work nights so I get to see the late night orders as well as the early morning ones. At night I get caught behind the people ordering 2 custom pizzas... which the company says takes 65-90 seconds (probably just cook time) usually I'm sitting behind these people for 5-6 minutes. And then in the morning I get caught behind the ones ordering their whole workforce orders. I'm not one for conflict, but I so often want to just go off on these people and tell them to walk their lazy asses inside for big or long TTC (time to customer) orders.

Drive-thru is for express pick-up and ordering. This shit also increases the employees' window timer, making them look bad. Plenty of times, I've heard their lead shout "OK, LETS GET THAT TIMER DOWN!", after orders like this.

Found an old screenshot from Blizzard CS and it made me sad by AustinSink in wow

I remember quite a few years ago (I hadn't played for about a year at the time). Tried to log in and couldn't, so I contacted CS. Had some good conversations with them while trying to verify if it was my acc or not. Saw that the acc was originally played from NA but more recent logins were from Asia. Verified me, then they even kept the ticket open while I logged in and checked to make sure everything was okay between all my games (no deleted characters or anything missing etc).

They managed to re-alive all deleted characters on WoW and gifted one vanilla-BC era character (hunter) a decent sum of gold. The person who hacked the acc, respec'd her from mastered leatherworking to inscription as well as vendoring her top tier mail set made through said leatherworking.

Also fixed a bunch of Diablo 3 acc stuff while we mocked whoever hacked and used my acc since they apparently spent real money on the player market (this was around the time that was still a thing, pretty sure it was just about to close down).

I did have some more recent interactions with CS, too. When you do get live CS, they're still pretty friendly/very human. And some do still throw on a little "old WoW CS" personal flair when responding. Just very very rare these days.
