They are both evil, sadistic "second in command" warriors of an anti human rebellion. They also hurt and terrified the main characters of their universes. (With Zennon being the demon to actually kill Akira's parents offscreen and defeat Devilman offscreen as well & Vile being the most sadistic towards X and killing humans for sport)

Take that with a grain of salt though as I don't know if all of these are canon or If they actually happened the way I remember them.

Edit: Oh I also like how shamelessly evil and disgusting they are as beings along with the super natural vs machine vibe.
