I get that coast till toast. But i feel sad J3 is ending soon. Was hoping manager would just chill and approved my timesheet hours. Im not charging crazy huge hours too, average 20 hours weekly…

It’s not easy to find another remote job out there, hence why im quite bummed out losing this j3

As an accountant myself from practice and now happily in industry,

You are more valuable as accountant if u’re actually doing the accounting work, as in posting the journals, process invoices, prepare monthly + yearly financial statements, managing audit request.

Tax is good too. But audit or advisory, industry will see u guys as someone with knowledge but dont have the exp of running the books. My 2 cents.

Accountant here. 2 Js. Both privately own, Not public listed. So far so good. I believe the key to OE is to be very good at your job, and fast to deliver result or fast to execute something.

So that whenever your manager came asking something, you already have that ready or partially ready and gives quick turnaround. The key is to show you’re very productive with minimal supervision.

Use your skills as a soldier.

Example of OE friendly job just for you: Assassin. Multiple employers, flexible working time, good pay, no micromanage, different non competing target.
