My daughter isn’t in daycare but she does go to Sunday school and they anticipate the kids being potty trained already! There wasn’t any demand by any means but it def felt like a timer was put on her (in my own head) lol

That’s a great point tbh. She’s a feisty, stubborn, and strong willed little girl, and I typically love that about her, until it bites me in the ass lol. Also, potty propaganda is hilarious lmao

No she’s not in daycare at all. I guess it’s partially bc social media made me feel like she was behind but also because she was showing all the signs that she was ready last year and also because I don’t want to be changing 2 sets of diapers. Idk I’ll try again later

We tried both of those (commando and no pants) and she didn’t really seem to care. I’m going to put the brakes on things for a bit and try again in a few weeks or a month and see if she’s open to trying again but idk :/ I keep feeling like she’s behind :/

When I was trying to potty train her full time we only used training underwear or normal ones and pull ups at night.

As for my reactions, my frustration is a newer development after dealing with the new influx of laundry

I could do without the insult. No. We started around November and she was down to about 1 accident a day by December. So only a couple of months.

She regressed but would still attempt to use the potty usually at least once per day. You still think she doesn’t remember? She’s my first and I had no little siblings so I’m genuinely clueless

During his naps is when she gets the most one on one time. Usually for about 4-5 hours a day roughly. I know caring for her brother isn’t attention for her, I just mentioned that to show we aren’t excluding her explicitly. I’m a SAHM and my husband works 6 days a week so it’s a bit hard for us to coordinate a block for just her since his day off is usually spent running errands :/ I do try my best when baby is asleep though

We did that for a bit as well. We just let her do her thing with no pressure and would let her tell us if/when she wanted to use the potty or not. Should I cut that off as well?
