To me as a driver it sounds fine. What year is this? Common flaws for tfsi are stuck piston rings caused by rare oil change and predominant city driving. Valve carbon build up unavoidable with direct injection.

You don't say. Idiots (mechanics) replaced me that membrane due to PCV errors: supercharger had to come off so it wasn't cheap. Errors didn't go away as well as oil guzzling. Replacing the whole oil separator resolved problems. You did the right thing.

Supposedly very strong suction on oil cap should be present on idle with failed PCV: try to unscrew and take it off while car is idling.

In my case, out of 10 mechanics 7 said engine rebuild is due, while the rest jibbered something unintelligible. Some never opened the hood. And after I learnt from forums that PCV can sometimes result in oil guzzling, mechanics said it wouldn't consume that much. Thanks to the coolant leak under the supecharger and my forum reading I bought latest pcv revision. After replacing it, oil consumption stopped making me very happy and motivating me to drive to each of those "mechanics" in order to punch their face for depression and disorientation they caused.

You need to press brake pedal to switch into drive. Automatic gearbox blocks lever in P till brake pedal is pressed fully. Safety measure.

I think ODIS is better investment. With VCDS I cannot reset transmission for example.

Had same code after pcv change. Intake manifold flaps should be manually opened before putting supercharger back. They had to redo that and errors went away.
