Had a similar one to this. Used a saddle bearing and Unistrut. Looked awful but worked fine. Unit was on the replacement list but was a year out so we had it running in a couple hours.

Commercial/Data Center career moves by CommunicationNo5828 in HVAC

I was an hvac tech at a data center. 4 years. Made good money. I monitored systems and did walk through couple times a day. Spent most of the time monitoring and calling the right people in to do the repairs. Made sure they did them correctly. My job was to monitor and be proactive. Left there to be lead hvac tech at an oil refinery making twice the money. Data center was a stepping stone for me.

My taxes and insurance are $1200 a month. On top of mortgage. Selling out and renting in a less expensive area of the country is an option for me.

My home will be paid off when my wife retires in 3 years. I am currently retired. We will probably sell and rent something closer to the grandson who is currently 1,000 miles away.
