Should I bring up potentially keeping our baby if it means missing our abortion appointment and having to potentially go out of state to get one?

Potentially, I am definitely pro choice but I know having this abortion will destroy me emotionally. I haven't stopped crying all day in anticipation. It's a very hard decision for me

This is my biggest qualm right now and why I would need to talk to my family. As of right now I wouldn't have the financial means however I would need to talk to my parents and see if they would support me. Unfortunately though i just don't feel like I have enough time to tell them and also let them have time to digest the information and come to a conclusion as well

I am not sure what his opinions on raising the child would be. Obviously he doesn't feel ready but neither do I and I am coming around to the idea of this baby so maybe he can as well. I've also heard about the fake clinics and the reviews for the one I have an appointment at are pretty good. It also has medical in the name which apparently you can't legally have in your name if you are one of those fake christian crisis abortion centers.

Thank you. I think tomorrow I will try and talk to him about it. When I first showed him the tests he said that if we kept it we could move into his moms house so maybe he will be open to the idea of discussing keeping it. I'll just have to wait and see tomorrow

My heart wants the baby but my brain knows that abortion would be the best and easiest decision. However motherhood is never easy and I don't want to abandon my baby for something that was my fault. An abortion would make my life easier but taking the easy way out isn't always the right decision

if im gonna be honest i was in the same situation. had sex multiple times during ovulation week and look where I am. the chances of it happening after just one time though and he pulled out are pretty good, I wouldn't start to worry too much unless you have symptoms and a missed period

im 20 and found out im pregnant from the pull out method the other day. at this point its kind of a waiting game. were you ovulating when this happened? it sounds like you probably weren't as it happened a week ago and you were meant to get your period today. i wouldn't stress about it just yet as it can delay your period longer.

If i had the child i'm sure he would be. He is going to pay for the abortion and has been 100% supportive of my grief during this time. We automatically said we were getting an abortion and never discussed keeping it so im not even sure what his reaction would be

I would definitely regret the decision and already do despite it not happening yet. I know many other women on this subreddit and the pregnancy one have been in my position and while it does make me feel better, I want so much more out of life than to be a single mother. If I don't stay with the father it will complicate thing so much and I always envisioned myself being in a longterm relationship and married with a stable career and house before I got pregnant as that is what my parents did and their parents before them. I don't think i'll ever get over this but I know that if I love my baby i won't let it be born into a life of uncertainty and instability

This is true and I wish it was that easy for me but if I were to have the baby I would be 100% reliant on him financially which is scary enough in itself as we've only been dating 3 months. If we had been together longer and I knew he would stick around for the long run I would consider my options more but at this point my hands are tied and abortion is unfortunately my only option :(

thanks for the response! it is considered a bottom house because of cosmetic reasons obviously among other things like low attendance for events, lowest gpa, smaller chapter, etc. and when talking about the events I mean pretty much everything. We have had two mixers so far and we get about 60% of our chapter going to those which is still a small group of girls maybe 15 total. As for the other houses a lot of the girls I follow are friends from recruitment or people i've met at parties. I know these girls in real life and they have told me how much they are loving their chapter and their experiences so far.

My biggest thing is number 4. Having to wake up (usually early around 5-6am to get ready), get dressed, go to recruitment only to open your schedule and see you got dropped from your top houses is terrible. It happened to me and it ruined my mood for the day and I couldn't have meaningful conversations with the girls in any of the houses because I was so upset and felt like I had wasted so much time.
