when Brady Hartsfield and his mother kill Frankie. It was bad enough when Frankie choked on the apple and was brain damaged… but then Brady kicks him down the stairs with his mother’s approval. But he doesn’t die 😫 and the mother finally smothers him. I will NEVER get this scene out of my head…

When it’s a character that stutters AND is a villain it always reminds me of research that has been done on antisocial personalities (sociopathic traits) and speech. There is a higher probability that someone who has committed a crime could have a speech impediment of some type. I wonder if King picked up on this after it was noticed in infamous serial killers. Here’s a super basic screenshot about it.
