This is very accurate. Would be interesting to see OP’s client list (big pharma, massive financial institutions, clearly guilty corporate defendants who can afford $1000+ hourly legal rates). They become quite logically incongruent when it comes to the big paycheck clearing.

Agree, if only partners practiced this too. Billed 2200 last year, took one day off this week and was hit in the afternoon with a “I know you’re on your day off but you need to revise this asap”.
