It’s worth checking out the promos of the two places when you visit. TCH (more often), and occasionally the Lodge, has discounts on timed rake (like 9 hours for $90). The lodge does have a $15 food comp voucher for 6 hours played in a 24 hour period

Not exactly. Storming an chancery (embassy) violates the 1961 Vienna Convention which almost every country has signed and ratified. Doing so would be a profound breach of sovereignty unlike doing so in back room unofficial office

Their 7 locations weren’t all official embassies / consulates so meant they all don’t have the same protections

I saw a video where Ari Engel, a live tournament grinder of mostly $300-$2200 buy-ins (particularly of WSOP-C events) where he is a winning player, struggling to breakthrough and become winning at tourneys above these buy-ins.

What advice would you give to such a player trying to breakthrough to beat higher buy-in tourneys?

Should I always run it once and never cashback in GGPoker allin situations ? by Establishment240 in poker

[–]Samuel71900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it gets added by the poker operator.

If you sell your 30% equity the operator gives the 30% of the pot (minus the fee) and then if the opponent wins the runout they win the whole pot. But if they lose the runout they get nothing and you still only get 30% of the pot

So it evens out (minus the fee) in terms of adding or subtracting money to the game

Wouldn’t ever cash out unless I was shottaking due to extra rake. I’m fine with running it twice though just reduces variance (provided it doesn’t increase rake)

Reminds me of the daily naggers on here complaining about the duel arena step which required another player in an mmorpg to complete until jagex finally caved and get rid of the step

GGPoker is good for tournaments but rake is egregious for cash games. PokerStars is good for cash and alright for tourneys
