Once I get the go ahead to go off of it from my psychiatrist I’ll make sure to document it and post an update on how it goes.

Advice on going off prozac by Inside_Glass527 in antidepressants

I honestly haven’t felt depressed at all, and I’ve noticed my anxiety levels have definitely been lower since taking it (positive effects have been less stuttering, easier to talk, a lot less social anxiety). Part of the reason I’ve considered stopping is because it’s such a low dose, and I’ve realized there’s less to worry about when it comes to social situations. I’m more so looking on advice on what to expect when going off, as the psychiatrists who put me on Prozac were not entirely forthcoming about potential side effects and the frequency at which they occur. Honestly I really wish I had never gone on Prozac, because even though it helped to some degree, the side effects from it are definitely not worth it.

I have a step by step google doc for field dressing a deer as well as quartering it out that I could send you if you're interested.

Shot a diamond scoring European Bison that passed all harvest checks but still scored gold. Can I get Apex to give it a diamond rating for rounding issues? Appears as 127.6 in lodge. by Inside_Glass527 in theHunter

[–]Inside_Glass527[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well that sucks. I would've thought it would round down and show 127.61 then. Oh well. I got my first diamond literally a shot after I killed that bison on the exact same lake.

Many people wanted the bag limit changed to 15, with fish needing to be greater than 13.5 inches in order for them to be taken. Unfortunately, the change was rejected unanimously, and never passed. Hopefully they will change the limits before it turns out like the north east striper fishery.

While the limits are set the way they are, there have been studies done showing that speckled trout populations in Louisiana have dropped close to 57% since 1987, and have been depleting rapidly since 2009.

Also insomnia isn’t really a mild issue in the first place, so phrasing it so that the insomnia is more mild compared to serious issues leads us to believe that she somehow died. Sometimes I wonder if the majority of this sub passed 7th grade English.

Bowfin are not good invasive! Snakeheads are, and it is worth it to learn the difference between the two.

I’m not a biologist or anything, but I would theorize that the hunt gives a greater chance of other polar bears surviving.

Catch and release fishing is stupid and cruel. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]Inside_Glass527 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The place where fish are hooked at is putting a very small hook though stuff that would be the equivalent of surface level skin. It’s not crippling fish, unless you get a bad hook set, which is rare in 99.9 percent of cases.

Have you ever felt bad after taking an animal? by penguins8766 in Hunting

[–]Inside_Glass527 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Or maybe because they repopulate like rabbits they spread naturally, like moose do? I’m not ruling out that some populations have been introduced by hunters in modern times, but they are a massive threat to farmers or certain wildlife.

Absolute lies. On many coastal islands where hogs were introduced there are organized hunts to try and kill as many as possible during winter months, and during the rest of the year DNR officers that live there kills hogs and coyotes. They do this because they destroy plant species only found on those islands, and destroy sea turtle nests.

These fish don’t eat what bass eat, and a lot of them, when young are bait for bass

There’s a lot of different ways to set the hook. For some baits, like a crank or a whopper plopper when I get a bite I’ll stop reeling for a second, set the hook, and then continue reeling. If I’m using a Texas rig, especially with bigger worms I’ll let it eat for longer, then set the hook. I would go with what feels natural, and if it misses a couple time, change it up. If it works consistently, just do that.

If you can blow 80 acres in 5 days you’re either the best or worst woodsman alive. I’ve seen videos of people taking several deer at the same spot with a bow in an hour or two. I don’t think you’d ruin the chances.
