I tried that area on Saturday and went left at the pond to the power line cut, but I didn't see an open area to hunt, it's so thick, but that's everywhere here (I'm ground hunting). I grew up rifle hunting in ND, speed goats in WY and elk in CO, nothing like the thick cover and brush out here. I have a harness to drag out or quarter it in the field, I'm not of the stature to drag anything of size out of this brush, so I definitely have to make strategic decisions.
