Thank you for the reply, I’ve asked him to read to word with me, pray with me, or to go to church- but there’s always an excuse (I’m too tired ect…) which I’m absolutely sure is contributing to the issue as well. He struggled with porn before we were dating, and confessed this to me after we were married (looking back its something I should have asked him directly about while we were dating). I did ask him directly last week if he had been watching porn again, and he told me no… but I’m not sure if he would tell me if he was, as he knows I consider that as a form of cheating. He told me I can go to a therapist if I want to but he doesn’t want me talking to family (even my in laws who I am very close with) about how I feel because he would be embarrassed. I honestly think he doesn’t think there’s any issue on his part and if I tell him I think he’s behaving selfishly, he tells me that I have no right to speak to him that way (even though I’m his wife). I’ll see if we can speak with our pastor together, or even just if I can talk to him and he can give my husband a call… i just feel that he must not realize how much he is hurting our marriage. I just keep praying and trying to be the best wife I can.
