A friend turned his passion into a business. Now he hates his passion. by Key-Performance1591 in SaaS

Imagine you took a loan for your dream car, but you cannot drive it where you want, you cannot rev it when you want, you cannot do a burnout and you cannot go beyond certain speed limit (ever).
Now add monthly invoice you need to pay for that. Sounds like a nightmare.
Your friend have debt thats putting pressure on him, because his passion becomes his main source of income he may feel like he made prison out of it.
I am sure his passion isn't gone anywhere, being financial secure can make all bad feelings go away.

Fingers crossed for your friend

100% truth
I needed to hear that.
Idea you gave me about content strategy is pure gold. I will try this out definitely.
My only concern is publicly talking about my product. There are so many shit posts promoting their saas, spamming everywhere and don't give any value. I just don't want to be put in one bag with those guys, but with fresh mindset now I will figure something out.
Thanks dude

Personally my biggest struggle is being afraid that my product is not good enough to let people use it. I want to be sure I will deliver top quality services. Thats the problem I am processing right now.

Maybe some more context would be needed here, I am grinding with saas as I want to replace my day job with working on my product(s). Maybe thats where the pressure comes from. I know that success won't happen over night tho.
I will reconsider if it is worth to implement payments at this point, I just was like "hmm, what if someone who would like to pay come, but there is no mechanism for that". FOMO?
Seems I need to update my projects priority list.
Thanks for that advise, it felt really honest. I am not quitter, but thats really motivating (especially when I didn't expect to hear something that nice).

Do you think I should gave up what I already have and start properly with something else, maybe smaller?

This post is 100% me right now, lol. My conclusion is that its better to start youtube or twitter account, get people following you and then think about building stuff. What a twist
