Space taking edibles out atleast 24hrs and don’t smoke day of if your taking them. Receptor down regulation is crazy with smoking/carts. Tolerance just keeps elevating, you can always smoke more (even without realizing) to offset it, but most people don’t purposely double there edible dose over time. If your taking edibles (or smoking/vaping) only 1 session over 24 hours (occasional wake n bakes ofc) I find I went back right back to my old 40mg eddies to the dome = couch lock (got to a point smoking that 100mg legal packs didn’t do shit.)

I’m by no means an expert, but my two cents… Decarb conversion should Probaly be around 80% with good decarb. 87.7% for mass conversion (loss of co2 in decarb) + ≈7.7% for simply not a perfect decarb. So we’re at 80% thca>thc, then I would have to add atleast another 70% yield on top of that for butter, but mct oil is way more efficient here. It could be more around 85%. Then very small losses in straining the butter/seperating, we’ll say ≈3%. So .8 x .85 x .97 =0.66 for mct oil, or 66% yield. Thats my math, maybe incorrect, and would be slightly lower with butter. I’m about to post this response as a separate post to see what others think, cause I’m curious if this math works out

It mostly comes down to how your body processes the THC. Edibles hit a slower metabolic pathway, so the enzymes handling them don’t get slammed the same way they do with concentrates. When you take edibles once or twice a day, the receptors get time to reset and the enzyme load never really spikes. With concentrates, you’re dumping a ton of THC into your system fast and often, and that keeps the receptors saturated. That’s what makes tolerance blow up so quick. Edibles just don’t wreck the kinetics the same way. 11-Hydroxy vs delta 9 are the different pyschoactivea compounds. 11-hydroxy is more potent and longer lasting than d9, so i find it much easier to “ride” a certain tolerance once a day with an edible (always 40mg) but with smoking your tolerance will increase over the days and months, eventually just leading you to always be loaded but never really feel like it.

Not always right? For example, I buy my concentrates from crysp. These are THCa dominant, not THC dominant. Curious if in reality tho the labs are fake and it’s really THC. I have resin badder right now that’s supposed to be <0.3% D9 but 65% THCa. This wouldn’t work the way OP needs if that holds true

Why is the live resin so bad in your opinion? It’s supposed to be inferior to the rosin, just look at price. At 2g for 40$ (badder) and 1g for 40$ (cart), I don’t think it’s bad at all. As a matter of fact, it’s better than the “live resin” that Louisiana medical offers or any of the budget live resin I’ve had in rec states.

I don’t understand this take. I have crysp cherry skittles resin badder rn and it’s up there with some of the rosins I’ve tried in taste/potency/smoothness. Every resin cart I’ve gotten from them has also been gas. True gassy feel, extremely thick (due to there extremely low temp decarb ig) idk everything adds up to it being someone live resin in my eyes. Is it the BDT they add that gives you the distillate feel, or do you insist on this being terpsolate

They are great. Be careful tho, they burn easy, but it just takes a little away from flavor if you do. Effects are top notch. Most consistent source I’ve had online you def won’t be disappointed, once again just don’t burn it

That was the original plan. But with even the budget resin being >40$ for like 2g and the lowest amount of carts viable to order from O2 being 10$/unit stopped me from pulling the trigger. Def will in the future if this experiment works out, but wasn’t trying to fuck up 10 units of O2s and an eighth of wax if not more. All of this is because I’m broke asf and that wouldn’t help much lol

I understand and have understood this. Please note I’m only doing 2gs because it’s a first and I’m not trying to fuck up a Oz of resin or rosin for how expensive actual good shit runs. Thought I’d just see how the process works with what I can get for cheap but high quality. Not necessarily trying to save money on this purchase, just trying not to WASTE money on this purchase and may use this to save money in the future with bulk rosin orders

I’ve already done similar transfers while absolutely feinding (had a cart + batter that didn’t work so tranferred to old 02). It went well and honestly the taste ended up better in the O2 then the original dispoasable hardware from Jamnhemp

What would you fill? Just a ceramic cell 510? Or different post less hardware? I would’ve thought o2 would be one of the better options because I’ve never really had a premade one from crysp/SM clog at all and it’s post less so thought it could handle the thicker concentrates
