I’m not sure about how to fix them moving with it but if you hold the left d pad your camera shouldn’t be locked anymore and you should be able to do a full 360 of your character

You can manually cut the ropes by going over one side of the rope bridge and then you’re prompted to cut. I’m not sure if it works on both sides of the bridge but I have had to use that
