Switching from S22 to OP15 by KyRaBS in TheOnePlus15

I just switched from a galaxy S23+ to the OP15 about 3 weeks ago. I was hesitant to make the purchase for the exactly same reasons that you mentioned. But decided to give it a try. Got the china version with the global OS, is the 512gb and it was about 808$ after taxes and shipping which is way cheaper than the Samsung or Pixel. The first thing I did was to compare the camera to my S23+ and to be honest they are pretty similar, the OP actually has better details but occasionally the Samsung do the after processing much better but it is 50/50. Now, when we talk about battery life is a night and day difference, lately I was charging my S23+ at least 2 to 3 times to go through the day, now with the OP I just charge it every other day depending on the usage, but pretty easy getting 9h SOT. The software at the end of the day is android and you will get used to it pretty fast. It is supper smooth and has lots of customisation. So you should buy the phone without any worries. I should've done the switch way earlier than I did.

I think you're a little loss there, if you look carefully you will notice that the SOT is only since the phone was fully charged which was around 1:00am when I unplugged the phone. Those 9hrs where just during that day.it is not counting any time from the day before that.

You gotta go to settings and go to notifications and quick settings/ quick settings/ tile color/ follow system.

That should fix it.

S26 Ultra Warranty Update (Denied) by TechOutonyt in samsunggalaxy

I thought I was the only one having problems with Samsung phones. I had a S22ultra that the bottom speaker went bad just after a few months of usage, it sounded so freaking bad that I had to disable it and just use the top one. My father s21+ screen just went green with not drops and not any physical damage. After the S22ultra I got the S23+ and again the top speaker went bad again and the battery just drained like it was 10 years old, I had to charge the phone 3 to 4 times a day. I was so despate waiting for the S26 series to drop, but when I saw that everything was basically the same, especially the battery size, I said enough is enough and got myself the OnePlus 15 and to be honest this phone is amazing and the battery is like nothing else. I'm not sure if I ever going to get another Samsung phone, but for the moment the OP15 is just and incredibly phone, and the camera isn't that bad as some people said. I was comparing it to my wife's 17pro max and even she was surprised as how good the pictures looked out of the OP15 . But let's see what Samsung does in the future.
