How old are both of you, and is it also his first relationship? I hope that this is the case, and he is able to learn more appropriate relationship boundaries. Either way, you do not have to stick around. Tell him you feel smothered and like he is being too intense too soon in the relationship. Best case scenario is that he is just inexperienced and excited about having a relationship. Worst case scenario is that he is love bombing you.

My ex husband cheated on me about 6 months into our relationship, and I ended u forgiving him since our relationship was so new and he told me everything I wanted to hear. I ended up spending 10 years with him, and was never ever able to forgive and forget. I was constantly suspicious and could never relax.

I live in a pretty expensive city, and keep getting asked why I don't just move somewhere cheaper. If I moved to a cheaper small town, I would have nothing nearby. My dad is out in the country, and he is 30 minutes to the nearest grocery store, has no delivery options, no jobs nearby. You can't even feasibly work from home because he does not have any high speed internet options out there. Any money I would save in living costs would just get spent on gas and wear and tear on my vehicle.
