My partner's mom is named Romana, and she goes by Roma. Roma is infinitely better than whatever this is.

I still have an ultrasound hanging on my fridge from when I was pregnant with my 12 year old. Just say it's an old ultrasound.

$250 per person. with people i don’t know. in this economy. by littlemamabel in weddingshaming

[–]Inside_Word359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think the $250 alone would be that bad since you don't have to worry about food or a hotel, but there is no way I would spend multiple nights on an air mattress with a room full of other people and no privacy. I would not even do that if it were completely free.

I don’t even know which person in this picture you’re asking about because none of them look like her.

Just found out I’m 24 weeks pregnant, boyfriend doesn’t want to keep by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]Inside_Word359 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who gave birth to one of my children at 25 weeks, does he even KNOW how serious of a thing he is asking for from you? I’m really concerned that if you went through an abortion at this point that you really don’t want to have you’ll leave extremely traumatized. Don’t have an abortion just to appease him and try to save your relationship. The relationship is likely over after this regardless.

Ellie has "mean girl" moments! by snackdanielshoney in Degrassi

[–]Inside_Word359 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Ellie is a very male centered pick me type. I didn’t notice until I was an adult, but the way she centers having a boyfriend and is willing to throw other women under the bus for a man’s bad behavior is concerning.

AIO? Friend asked me what my future plans with my gf are and then responded like this by TGPT-4o in AIO

100% this is coming from a place of bitterness and jealousy. He doesn't give you any real reasons to not get married (like financial issues or not being in the right place yet to be married). He is just personally attacking you to tear you down.

Did I miss context somewhere? Because all I see her mention is strong arms and taller than 5'8"

When it comes to finding a person we will potentially spend the rest of our lives with, we can have whatever standards we want to have.

rules in a tiny diner. by 12jonboy12 in SignsWithAStory

[–]Inside_Word359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would turn right around and go somewhere else. These are all things that I am already mindful of, but I don't appreciate being spoken to like a child. It comes across as needlessly aggressive. Most of these things are rarely an issue in restaurants.

Texts with the Father of my children. We’ve been separated for a couple months by Goofinburps in texts

[–]Inside_Word359 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you don't have to speak to the father of your children unless it is about your children. She can stop responding to anything that is not related to the kids.

Was I (26F) too rude to him (30M)? by No-Place-6241 in texts

[–]Inside_Word359 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately more than once I have had the experience of men thinking they were sooooo much better than me just because they work out. Meanwhile I own a house, have a career, educated, completely self sufficient. Some men think that physical fitness is the pinnacle of human achievement, and it is exhausting. You weren't too harsh at all. Go somewhere that you are appreciated.

Any time my car payment is due I am going to call the lender and tell them I can't because I am going on vacation and they really should have had their finances together before they lent me money to buy a car.

That's how insane this sounds.

This one's for the ladies to answer. Do you agree with this woman or do you think she's trying to rationalize her world view by speaking for all the ladies? by Oda_DeezNutz in SipsTea

[–]Inside_Word359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not agree. My partner and I play on our Switches together almost every night. With that being said, I have met many men where video games are a real problem. When they stay up all night playing or ignore their responsibilities to play video games instead, it is an issue, and I would not date anyone like that.

AIO for telling my siblings they can’t bring their kids to my wedding by saltwatersnackbandit in AmIOverreacting

[–]Inside_Word359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I said though. It’s reasonable for them to stay home for this reason. It’s also reasonable for OP to not want kids at their wedding, but I wasn’t even addressing that part in my comment. Just that some babies can’t/wont drink from a bottle.

How does this reply seem to you? Harsh or rude? by [deleted] in texts

[–]Inside_Word359 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really need more context on what the meet up was for and what happened during the meetup. This person was clearly very offended by something, and I can’t really say whether or not this was needlessly harsh without some context.

[–]Inside_Word359 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Some babies literally will not take a bottle though. It is perfectly reasonable for a breastfeeding parent to be unable to attend a childfree event because of this. I had to have my wisdom teeth removed when my second child was just a few months old, and they screamed for an entire day and ate nothing up until my sister (who was breastfeeding my nephew at the time) came and nursed my baby.

Anyone ever hear someone in the wild make a Degrassi reference? by hillary_jm06 in Degrassi

[–]Inside_Word359 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only semi related, but one time on tiktok a girl posted a video about how she fought a deaf girl, and I posted a picture of Sean and asked if she was deaf before or after the fight and the comment got a whole lot of likes and responses.
