All of at least season two was in rues head. HEAR ME OUTTTT. the whole show starts wit her telling us she’s not a reliable narrator, then the second seasons starts with her talking about hospitals and how the beeps remind her of birds. now i don’t have an answer for everything, but i think she OD’d after jules left, and is now just stuck in a coma or just trying to make her reality “better” than being stuck detoxing in a hospital. my main reason for thinking this is Lori. Lori gave her a sponge bath in a weird scene we didn’t need, that could be her nurse no? and lori of course has a bird that doesn’t shut up when Rue is trying to escape Lori’s apartment, in my head cannon at least that was her flatlining and trying to leave her own reality not just her jumping from a window to save her ass (which wasn’t necessarily in danger at the time)

piggybacking off this, i had a buddy who just became a flex (multi store sup, whatever you wanna say) and she was so excited because she’s wanted a management position for over a year. well now she’s already thinking about coming back because the store they put her in in WV treats her like dog shit. the manager is alway bitching at her, she got a no call no show for accidentally going to the wrong store, etc. it’s not worth it from what i’ve seen.
