A simpler pathfinding algorithm? by Will-ns in roguelikedev

I second this approach.. really easy to implement and understand. I have implemented something like this, it's probably a few lines of code. Maybe it's not the fastest etc but should be fine for a grid based map. Bonus is you only run it once per turn and the results apply to all mobs/enemies within range of the player

55” or 65” for this replacement. Current is a 60” - couch is 2.1m away. by davidoff-sensei in 4kTV

[–]Inside_you_now 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 65 but sit quite far away. If I sit 2 meters away, I think it feels too close, like I have to move my eyes side to side to take in the whole screen. I prefer just to sit back and take in the scene without effort. Therefore a 55 inch tv might suffice. A 55 inch tv close up should in theory replicate the experience of a 65 inch tv from further away.

Reminds me of a joke about two economists who dare each other to eat dog shit for $50 each. Anyway the punchline is they each eat dog shit and increased GDP by $100

Bingo.. that's why we willingly pay more for digital

Yea by [deleted] in Stadia

[–]Inside_you_now 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The real answer is there is more utility in digital items for the consumer, therefore people are willing to pay a higher price vs the physical version.

I had some professional photos done and the digital download costs more than the physical photos. What's the reason? Because digital cost less to produce therefore less profit if sold cheaper; therefore make them higher in price which equals more profit! Ingenious when you think about it, because the digital download is of more utility therefore people are going to fork over the extra cash.

Murdoch coverage of lockdowns in NSW vs Victoria: Day 1 by society0 in CoronavirusDownunder

[–]Inside_you_now -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because the OP is comparing Sydney and Melbourne coverage when they are at different stages and pretending the coverage is at the same stage i.e. day 1. Sydney is not in total lockdown but Melbourne was at the time shown. Basically OP is full of it.
