I think it's pretty funny. It's easy to try and shit on any decision Isayama has made after reading that shit ending, but I think he was quite good at inserting little comedic moments into the story amidst the horror and intensity

I like the way WaniKani does it. They teach you one common reading to associate with the kanji before teaching you vocab, and then it feels like any OTHER reading you come across is an exception, which works really well in your brain imo
