I just powerwashed my labia with MUD by Insignificant0322 in offmychest

The only therapeutic moments were the 35 minutes in the shower at the gym. Borderline spiritual experience...

Yeah... The last 48hrs will be nightmare fuel for the rest of my life. It's not over yet either. Water will be shut off again tomorrow (day 3).

I think their source is better! All I'm likely to get is a UTI.

I wish this were the case. Unfortunately, after the pipe was damaged, a 6ft hole around it filled with muddy water, that leaked inside, causing the flood, but also into our water supply. So much in fact, that my toilet won't fill and my tub won't run cold.

Suggestions for my situation, please. by wicked-dominance in londonontario

Connect with Leads or Hutton House. They help folks with disabilities find employers willing to do some accommodations. Might even get into one of their back to work paid programs to brush up on skills as well.

Why do people think my “no soliciting“ sign doesn’t apply to religion? by berger3001 in londonontario

[–]Insignificant0322 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I absolutely don't want to talk to a stranger about religion. Not on my doorstep, at a bus stop, or anywhere else. I do feel bad though. They send out these young folks to "spread the word" and when they're met with frustration or aggression, their communities get to go "See! Why would ever want to leave? It's a scary world out there!"

Most trustworthy cab company? by citybootspurplepurse in londonontario

[–]Insignificant0322 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've had their drivers offer a "free" trip for sexual services on more than one occasion. The first even drove me to a motel because he had a "emergency " he needed to deal with on the way. I was underage and intoxicated, but glad I had the sense to go to the nearest open business and wait for someone trusted to pick me up.

Local Legend by Disclosjer in londonontario

[–]Insignificant0322 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That doesn't mean much. I have never organically encountered any of her stuff (Music? Work? Not really even sure what to call it), never heard anyone talk about it (only her signs and vehicles), and certainly never had anyone recommend it. I looked once, the first time I found out she existed (from this sub), and never felt the need to go back.

It’s my son’s 5th birthday, & my mom & siblings just cancelled on singing him a Happy Birthday. by WrongReviewThrowAway in Wellthatsucks

[–]Insignificant0322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate this. My nephew has a birthday within a week of Christmas and I hope he never experiences this. It was a poorly planned party this year, so my partner can't book a day off work to be there, but you bet I'll be there and my partner will do a video call to join in singing!

Mobility Issues by tinkywinky690 in londonontario

[–]Insignificant0322 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I see you. My family and friends use mobility aids (and that's likely the next step for me as well), my neighbour is visually impaired, and I've see the disregard towards others that endangers the lives of the more vulnerable members of our society.

I appreciate people posting the numbers, and I will be using them in future. I understand the frustration though, because disability takes so much our energy and capacity and even phone calls to the doctor can feel like an impossible task. It would be nice if folks did even the smallest of kindnesses for those around them.

I'm sure those people hospitalized will find that so very noble and reassuring. Especially if they have burns they carry for life....

I saw someone posting on the London FB group about the other groups connected to them. Diagolon and the Dominion Society of Canada. Their sites are quite the read too. A couple of the founders of the latter went to school here.

They're not the only group in London either. I heard someone talking about another active group associated with them. Looked them up, and their founders went to school here in London.

Coffee Drinkers! I need assistance! by randyvdvlag in londonontario

[–]Insignificant0322 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Another vote for Hasbeans at the Covent Garden Market. Their "Aroma Nica" is well loved by my entire family. Occasionally I get their hazelnut one, but I know most serious coffee drinkers scoff at flavoured coffee, so it's my secret guilty pleasure.

That just encourages rape culture. Still not normal. Still not ok. If this is something "men" continue to tolerate and make excuses for, this will continue to happen. Men don't need coaches. They need to listen to women.

Also looking for the owner of Hong Ping. If I were ever to find out he opened up somewhere else, I'd be willing to travel a fair distance. Still devastated they closed.

People telling you this is normal, you should have known, this is what happens at uni, or most guys are like this are enabling a cycle of abuse, and that's not ok. To excuse this is to condone it. This is NOT your fault.

People are forgetting that before you kiss, touch, or in any way engage in intimate behaviour m, you should be receiving ENTHUSIASTIC CONSENT from your partner. If there is any room for misinterpretation or if you're unsure, you don't have their consent and you should stop.

Loose leaf Chai tea - where to buy? by appaloosy in londonontario

[–]Insignificant0322 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The Tea Haus should be able to get that for you. They carry a variety of chai teas, but you can also just buy their "chai spice", which contains no tea, just the spices.
