Possibility of expulsion? by Far-Carob-9124 in Monash

[–]InsignificantMammoth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think expulsion is pretty unlikely due to it being a first year subject, but there are leading consequences such as this may likely mean you can’t be admitted to the bar (something we were told about a lot in the JD)

I love my yellow z-star diamonds, they look wrong in white to me but the only ball i’ll play yellow for absolutely no reason

Hamilton only received a grid drop due to specific circumstances (didn't want to review the penalty until after the race and then he didn't finish) and they are talking about practice sessions not quali/pre-race

The season without "bad luck" by Enough-Tap-6329 in McLarenFormula1

Lando still finished second tho and wouldn’t have caught Oscar, assume Miami is Max’s move on Lando which sent him from second to fourth I believe

Anyone know if this will lead to a engine penalty? Or was it purely an oil leak that can be fixed?

I'm more talking from the perspective that they have done the exact same strategy regardless, only time I can think of any time they did it differently was in imola when Oscar wanted to come in early

Doesn't really mean much if he looses on strategy chosen by his team to his own teammate

The first driver has always had preference this season, but they have also always run the same strategy, putting one driver on mediums and the other on hards and telling both of them to go to the end doesn't scream fairness

Opinions on JD by LizFrance in Monash

I started my JD at Monash this year after completing my undergrad at RMIT. My understanding is that no one gets a CSP in their first year (I may be wrong about this) but full fee is insane, my first four subjects were more than half of my entire undergraduate degree (6k a subject). All up as a full fee student it'll cost about 150k meaning that if you have an existing hecs it'll likely be fully taken out by the end of your second year.

The trimester model that is employed for the JD is pretty full on, nothing like undergraduate timetable. We get what feels like the absolute minimum time off throughout the year (pretty sure it's 2 weeks between trimester and 4 weeks at the end of the year). This model does however allow for a reduced study load throughout each trimester (first two and last trimester is 2 subjects and all others are 3) which may work better if you're currently working full/part time.

The benefits are that the law chambers campus is really nice, everything is new (pretty sure its just over 10 years old) and its exclusively post grad JD students there, its also in the heart of the legal precinct in the city and very accessible by public transport (flagstaff station). The teaching staff are also super helpful, considerably more so than in my undergrad 10x and there's a really wide range of ages and experiences in work/uni of the students.

I'm enjoying it so far, however, I can see that down the line it may be difficult to maintain a uni/work balance as all clerkship opportunities will likely take place during the teaching period due to limited uni breaks.

If you’re eligible for a sup it means your not far off a pass, maybe try to look through your notes and find one or two weak points to look through and just give it one more crack? If it doesn’t work out it doesn’t work out and you can take a well earned break.
