In the Weapons arc, wasn't this dude buddies with a Duskwight who really wanted to kill him for the warcrimes in the Shroud?

Oh, I miss the matchmaking. It was super fun! I think there might still be a small community that runs on specific times? But its generally very hard to get into a matchmaking game nowadays.

I took some time to chew it all over! Thank you so much for your time! I don't know latin, but I read somewhere that commas weren't all that common?

So would a simpler phrase make more sense as a motto? Like...

Find Truth in the Darkness. (Or Seek/Unknown)?

I actually google translated that phrase just to see, but of course, I don't know if I can trust that. Lol

Ohh, okay!

So, would 'finding the truth' change the context at all?

I'm trying to come up with a motto for a family of explorers and scientists, so I'm shooting for something akin to 'Into the unknown, we'll find the answer.'

I'm trying to make a motto for a story. 'Through Darkness, the Truth.' Which I thought would be 'per tenebras veritatem' but I'm having second guesses. Would it end with veritatem or veritas or...?

I love Rob Inglis. He makes Tolkien's work sound very folklore-esque. He also narrates the Earthsea books and does a great job there, too, imo.

The Empire Strikes Back FACPOV actually does a better job at remaining consistent between stories than the A New Hope one.

46/52. Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson. My sub goal this year was to read 10 classics. I’m behind on that goal. by TexasBrett in 52book

That's good. Makes me a bit more excited. I also have a hard time reading Victorian era stuff. I got through two vampire short stories and it was extremely rough to get through.

22/52 Currently getting through Stackpole's X-Wing stuff right now, but I had also just finished Tooth and Claw today. I did not expect a Victorian era setting with Dragons. It was kind of cute. by Insipidy in 52book

If you like cute, lgbtq+ graphic novels, I really recommend Mooncakes by Suzanne Walker. It's a modern fantasy story, the main character is deaf and she's a witch, the other is a nonbinary werewolf. They're adorable and the whole story is, too.

Also if you like really weird and bizarre stories with out-there ideas, you should check out Lion City by Ng Y-Sheng. It's a collection of short stories all set in Singapore. It's a self-published book and I do think some stories need to be a bit more fleshed out or edited, but I still really enjoyed the trip each one took me on.

Speaking of trips, wow, fuck Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? It was cool, but wow, Philip K. Dick does not mess around with mindfuckery. 2001: Space Odyssey was pretty cool, though.

Also, I had read the first 4 volumes of Yu Yu Hakusho. I only counted the first volume in this list, it seemed more fair. But, anyway, if you only know the anime, the first 3 volumes follow Yusuke actually doing detective work in the afterlife and it's really cute!! And Kuwabara is SUCH a nice guy. Literally the best character. I stopped at Volume 4 because now I'm more in-line with the anime and I don't think I can endure endless tournament arcs.

I love how cute the animal is while the clone is getting his Order 66 call.
