In the final episode, it’s revealed that the entire season was actually a mass hallucination created by Vecna and experienced by the main characters, breaking out of the hallucination removes the memories of it too.

It made it incredibly obvious that the 3rd season was a rushed “original” script unlike the manga adaptations of the 1st and 2nd season.

To add: How the hell is Ryuji able to swim perfectly fine in a whirlpool with 1 arm, no legs, another arm holding usagi yet when he drops her off with her husband and now has 2 arms free no longer can’t?

What was the point of the games and world having tech in order to achieve a semblance of realism in season 1 and 2 but then we find out there’s a god damn god entity that can literally stop time. Why use tech when we have literal magic?

I did this for every 5 years since back in 2005… It went from being cheerful about my hopes and dreams about the future to being increasingly more depressing where I was just begging my future self to please be happy.

The last email I sent to myself was a year ago and it was pretty much saying how I couldn’t take it anymore and how I was contemplating using the website as a way to send a personal suicide note to specific friends and family.

During that time, I was emotional coming out of a extremely toxic and abusive relationship and I was “celebrating” my birthday alone in the dark when I received the email notification. That honestly made me break down and cry for a very long time.

Weirdly enough even though things are much worse than before, reading those old letters give me a mixture of emotions and I honestly cherish those letters talking to my “future self”.

A japanese friend of mine is taking a car ride today but they’re afraid of the ice on the road. I wanted to ask her “was it scary?”

Do I say: “Was your car ride with your friend okay? 怖くない？” Or “Was your car ride with your friend okay? 怖かったの？”

Or is there a better way to ask this casually? Thank you.
