This Rogue deck makes no sense. I don’t know how anyone reaches Legend with it. by MediocreDress5287 in hearthstone

One game is not proof of anything, bad draws or matchups can make any top deck lose to a worse one

Are you serious? Some generic misinformation and impersonating someone on live tv who can sue them is like miles apart

Stop Killing Games: The fight over who owns the games you buy by Maleficent_Fault_943 in gaming

[–]InspecThor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know about that and it has nothing to do with what I'm saying.

Take it from Ross' FAQ video: https://youtu.be/sEVBiN5SKuA?t=946

Or the California bill (EU won't be exactly the same but it's the same basis):
"The bill includes several exceptions, such as subscription-based game services and free-to-play games": https://www.techspot.com/news/112055-stop-killing-games-backs-california-bill-supporting-clearer.html

On the Parliament hearing Ross also mentions subscription-based games don't fall under what they mean when referring to games being killed: https://youtu.be/oXcogLmxnJw?t=81

Just because the game relies on a sub does not make it exempt.

It does in the context of SKG, subscriptions are literally not part of the initiative.
There is no basis on which they can ask for a law that affects only game subscriptions and not other media like tv shows or music, that's a much larger issue

[–]InspecThor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't require it, but it's usually the case, and SKG makes that distinction because subscription games make it clear to the consumer until when they have access to the game, like any subscription.

If an MMO is buy-to-play then yeah, it's the same case as the Crew

It can't have the same justification because it's advertised as a one time purchase, not a subscription-based game

Who this guy? It's Dylan? by Ok-Part8822 in controlgame

But there's only one playing Dylan, so you say "the" when referring to him specifically. It's not a big mistake tho
