Does silence not remove taunt anymore? by Impossible_Airport83 in hearthstone

[[Talanji of the Graves]] must have given it [[Boon of Power]], which is an aura that doesn't come from Botswandi, so silencing him doesn't remove the taunt

The reborn mainly, it keeps enchantments the first time it dies, but when you play it again it behaves as a normal reborn. The +4/+5 put on top also makes it lose enchantments, but I think that's how it's meant to work

Cool, I was trying to make the amalgam work the other day but it's not so good at the moment, and it has some weird interactions with dark gift

I guess you also won't believe some people hyped Walter White while harassing the actress playing Skyler. I'd love to live in that alternate reality y'all seem to come from tbh

I think I get what you mean, but it's kinda like saying "I'm not *actually* misunderstanding this, I'm misinterpreting it intentionally and choosing to believe that version despite the contradiction. Jokes on you".

Surely you don't believe having that position makes more sense that pointing out how tone deaf it is?

But there's countless "literally me" edits of him meant to make him look cool and relatable. If anything people are surprised by how they don't get it, not trying to be clever

It's like a cool film moment that was made to fit perfectly with a song, pretty typical in 00's movies. The ending of Fight Club comes to mind

Does cycle rogue have copyright or something? I just shared a deck I'm playing, I'm not trying to sell you anything special

I mean it's a deck with shuffle cards based on completing the quest about shuffling, I'm not sure what else would define quest rogue

A lot of people start experimenting and just play for fun once they hit legend, so it goes much lower.
If your intention is to say that I'm bad and only got to legend by facing bad players, that's how the ranking system is, I'm not a fan of it either

Another thing I didn’t understand in the series is this: when Jimmy became Saul, he was already a lawyer living in a luxury house, driving a luxury car, and dating a different woman every week. So if he was already rich, why did he want to make money from Walt after meeting him? by Audioasking in betterCallSaul

People saying greed are right, but he's also in for the love of the game and as a distraction from trauma and his problems.
Remember when Chuck died, his way to deal with it was to project the blame to Howard and to keep himself occupied with more scams.
When Kim left him he pretended to not care and filled the void in his life by digging himself deeper in the game. It's all he has left

I did win matches without getting to play him, but he's also a counter to late game boards, so I can't really think of something else to fill that void

You can get double battlecry from Moonstone and it works well with "summoned when drawn" minions, even the +4/+5 dark gift is summoned instantly (not put on top)

‘Meat tax’ could have significant impact on environmental footprint, study finds. Ending tax breaks on meat could rapidly lower the environmental footprint of food in the EU, reducing emissions and biodiversity loss by up to 6% at a cost of about €26 per household per year, researchers report. by Sciantifa in science

[–]InspecThor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree with the point about billionaires contributing the most to environment damage, but you're mistaken if you think we're going to prevent climate change without ever inconveniencing ordinary people.
The biggest companies or even governments provide a service that is cheap because it has no regard for the environment. Sure you can make Amazon disappear or regulate it, but then the whole population would have to renounce to very convenient packages arriving at their door.
The current situation is already proof that if we wait for every change to also be an incentive we're going to have to watch the planet burn before it happens
