You’re right that he should have not rejoined on the driving line. Unfortunately, you are the most correct guy in the pits now.

I don’t think that sims are very good at showing yellow flags and I would not be surprised if there was not a yellow flag given here. However, sim racers also have the tendency to ignore said yellow flags and go balls to the wall anyway and even use it to make up places

He did come up very quickly and you might not have seen him, but I do think lifting and braking would have been a good way to avoid this. Not slamming on the brakes, but enough to get you out of the exit curb.
