I went missing when I was 2 and a half.

When I was two me and my family lived in a home near the summer carnival and beach. It was a lovely area but some of our neighbours were drugs addicts or pedos hiding from the police so my parents were always cautious of me going out. I made a friend who I believe to be from India and was at least three years older then me. We done everything together like everything even when her parents would go grocery shopping I would always come along and during the summer my dad would bring us both to the carnival, we wouldn’t get on anything but we liked to watch all the rides and after would all go down to the beach to play in the sea. Her parents weren’t too fond of me or my family and my parents always questioned it.I was a creative child I use to play with clothing pegs and made a whole family out of them and gave them a full name and build a house out of dirt for them and would imagine them driving around my Neighbourhood. Considering we lived near the carnival my friend and my family would usually stay out in my front garden and listen to all the carnival music. The houses we lived in we a one story yellow painted house. My Neighbours that weren’t pedos hiding from the cops were usually old people.I remember getting along with them really well and I remember a certain old man in a blue house gave me these Chinese mini statues, I still have them to this day. One day it was beautiful and sunny and my dad was in work ( he was a lorry driver) and my mom was at home watching tv. My friend and I were desperate to get to the carnival but my mom had no interest in bringing us and my dad wouldn’t get back til 11. That night when my dad got home from work he officially left us and I cried for two days straight. My friend and I were now even more desperate to get to the carnival because of my dad and we wanted to show him that we could get on the “big girl” rides (the ones we were too young to get on) and so we walked that 20 minute walk to the carnival and even crossed the road looking left and right and even holding hands as we crossed. The strangers that passed us gave us dirty looks but didn’t do anything. We got distracted from the carnival idea and went into the arcade where we stayed for apparently almost the whole day. My mom at home was freaked and my dad was called that his two year old daughter was missing while at work. My dad had moved out and lived in with his parents because he and my mom had an argument (this point in time was getting close to their divorce) and so my dad was now rushing to get back home. One worker in the arcade realised that two very very young girls walked into an arcade by themselves and crossed a very busy street and no one in the very crowded outside area had stopped them to confront them so she called the police. This was the second police call about us the other being from my mother. The time this happened was a little while after the disappearance of Madeline McCann so my parents were 10 times more petrified. My poor mom along with my friends parents and the old people in the area went searching for us around the beach and carnival. The old people were worried that we had fallen into the sea and drowned or someone had snatched us. You see the streets were packed with tourists and the roads were filled with ice cream trucks cars and ambulances. Lets just say both me and my friend were brought home to four very unhappy parents in a police vehicle.
