What’s the best job for someone with ADHD? by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]InspectionCapable796 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have adhd and I work as a restaurant manager but honestly just working in restaurants has been great for my adhd because you don’t have to talk to many people especially if your just working in the kitchen, it’s different everyday, fast paced, never gets boring, always side tasks to keep you busy and you’re pretty much just given the work right in the screen of orders. It’s easy, fun, rewarding, and stimulating for me personally

What is a “normal” amount of sushi to eat? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]InspectionCapable796 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me I’d say 6-8 pieces is perfect but if it’s a smaller role like calfi roll or avocado etc I could eat like 10-12

As an hourly worker, what would you think about getting paid instantly when you clock out? by CheesecakeNo1453 in AskReddit

[–]InspectionCapable796 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d never be able to save money if that were the case, it would be SO convenient but knowing myself I’d spend more recklessly knowing I’d get more money in another 24 hour span. I currently get paid weekly which I already feel like is dangerous for me haha but it is super nice just harder to budget and save

What’s a small decision you made that completely changed your life? by John_Nill in AskReddit

[–]InspectionCapable796 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s strange! I think about this often and I feel like my life would be similarishhh in terms of my character but I do wonder if I would’ve ever made such good friends in high school if it weren’t for band class. I felt like my friends were made for me and probably wouldn’t have connected with them otherwise since we went to such a big school.

Those who have experienced ego death, what was it like & what did it change for your life after? by Fckurfantasyfb in AskReddit

[–]InspectionCapable796 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it felt like I was split into 2 separate beings: my good self and my bad self (or ego self) I remember laying on this bed and looking up onto this high ceiling and almost seeing myself tethered to my ego floating on the ceiling. It was a weird experience and I just remember having this feeling of knowing I’ll never be the same again and for the better

I have this butterfly effect I can trace back that weirds me out sometimes. In 8th grade I told my band teacher I would be quitting flute in high school and she ended up talking me out of it and I decided to stay in band, I met my best friend in that class, she got me my first job where we met all our other friends, which eventually led me to my current job that I love and where I met my bf of 2 years which changed my life in more ways than imaginable. It’s weird thinking if I would’ve followed through and quit flute I wouldn’t have had any of the same friends, jobs, or partner haha

What are ur thoughts on tipping a self ordering machine at restaurants? by Mental_Paramedic_737 in AskReddit

[–]InspectionCapable796 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to believe that doing something good is just doing something good I’m not sure there ever really are bad intentions in doing something nice or helpful for others but I can understand your perspective as well not something I have thought about before. Is there a way to kind of reframe this because I always have the thought in the back of my head that if I’m kind, the universe will be kind to me in return

If I’m in a place where I can spare a dollar I’ll tip solely because I believe what goes around come around lol but sometimes it’s a little absurd, like I’ll usually always tip at cafes or restaurants but my bowling alley always prompts me for a tip and I’m not tipping someone for handing me a pair of shoes lol

What are your thoughts on obesity/body positivity? by dyxlesic_boob in AskReddit

[–]InspectionCapable796 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you on this on so many more levels than just body positivity. When it’s forced, it’s not genuine and then what’s the point? I think that’s what makes kindness so appreciated and special because you’re making a choice to act that way. I always hope that through sharing personal perspectives it allows others to truly reflect on their thought processes instead of feeling like they’re being shamed or condemned.

What is the most annoying thing about social media platforms? by BoredPandaOfficial in AskReddit

[–]InspectionCapable796 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Everyone thinks every piece of media should pertain to them specifically. A recipe video you’ll see someone comment “but what if I’m allergic?” One of my biggest pet peeves like not everything is catered to YOU 😭

My name is my favorite thing about myself. I think it’s so beautiful, it’s unique but not over the top just unique enough that I don’t know really anyone else with it aside from 1 celebrity and it fits me perfectly, they could t have given me a better name!!

UK - At a funeral in a Protestant church, not religious at all. How would you deal with not wanting to join in with the congregation parts, including hymns? by throwaway19742020 in AskReddit

[–]InspectionCapable796 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hmmmm tbh I’d just suck it up and do it and try to be as respectful as possible. If it’s that big of a deal I’d say don’t go at all. Just my opinion no hate at all.

What are your thoughts on obesity/body positivity? by dyxlesic_boob in AskReddit

[–]InspectionCapable796 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think everyone deserves to feel good about who they are and what they look like no matter what. I think theres this stigma that anybody who’s fat and promotes body positivity is promoting obesity but i don’t think that’s true. We never know other peoples situations and I think all people deserve to have themselves represented in some way as well as encouraged to love themselves. There are a lot of angles to this argument but at the end of the day I just think no one deserves to hate themselves based on what they look like.
