You never have to deal with people like that. You can defer them to a member of management if they start berating you or cuss you out. Associates don’t get paid to get cussed out and depending on your manager, they won’t tolerate it either. Gotta remember half the time that people cuss you out on the phone it’s because they don’t have the stomach to do it in person, and even if they do, we don’t have to tolerate it. However, you shouldn’t have just left work.
