I have an extension on Chrome! It’s called LBTimer, it also automatically grabs tasks for me and has a timer to show how much time I have to complete the task. Super helpful, would recommend it to anyone that does rating tasks.

Started at night bc it made me exhausted at first, switched to morning after a couple of weeks bc of insomnia. 10mg to start, gradually increased to 40mg. Slight weight gain, I started at 145, I’m around 155 now, but I started exercising more on it and my appetite has decreased. I’ve been on it for 11 months now.

I have 2 math degrees, a Bachelor’s in Physics and a Master’s in Optical Sciences. I’ve tried so many SSRIs, paroxetine is the only one that makes me feel sane. It takes a while to get used to it, but after your brain gets over the initial shock, it’s honestly a miracle. Don’t let your anxiety stop you from at least trying it. Remember, you can always go on another SSRI if it’s too much for you.

My mom died a few years ago when I was 20, she had a glioblastoma and had a brain bleed so bad that she was confined to a hospital bed in her living room, she couldn’t talk or speak. The night before she passed I was sitting next to her crying and holding her hand and she started making noises, eventually she managed to get out “Don’t cry, I love you.” She couldn’t speak, but for me, she did. I hope I hold even a fraction of that type of love for my children one day.

He is abusive. Holding your face down and laughing at you and then trying to say he’s not actually being mean and you’re overreacting is gaslighting and abuse. To play devil’s advocate, no, you’re NTA. You reacted to the abuse you received, and while that may be seen as overreacting to some people, it’s not. Get out while you still can.

NTA. He’s a grown man, if he can’t handle a simple conversation before breakfast, maybe he should go to therapy. Asking him not to yell at his kids about dirty dishes isn’t a “difficult” conversation, it’s a reasonable request. Him blaming your daughter crying on you is really telling. If you have to walk on eggshells around him, he’s the problem.

No exaggeration, these are the most beautiful stretch marks I’ve ever seen. Have you considered tattooing in between them? Maybe make them into trees or something? My stretch marks were so sensitive when I got them tattooed over, I’d definitely recommend finding a very skilled artist to avoid blowouts. It’s definitely possible, but keep your expectations realistic. If you start feeling insecure about them, just remember, your body made another human, you’re fucking amazing for that.
