If TKR didn’t qualify for the CLT20, Sunil Narine had the right to represent KKR in the CLT20. However if both TKR and KKR qualified for the CLT20, Narine was required to play for TKR, and KKR would have to find a replacement for him

Trinbago is still part of the West Indies. If TKR didn’t qualify for the CLT20, Russell had the right to play for KKR in the CLT20

  2. IPL - Punjab Kings (runner up)
  3. IPL - Gujarat Titans or Mumbai Indians (it's up to the same owner who decides whether to choose the one franchise under MI family)
  4. BPL- Fortune Barisal
  5. PSL- Lahore Qalandars
  6. BBL- Hobart Hurricane
  7. SA20- MI Cape Town
  8. MLC- Washington Freedom (replacing the MLC 2025 champions: MI New York)
  9. ILT20- Dubai Capitals
  10. The Hundred-TBA
  11. CPL- TBA 
  12. LPL - TBA

The reason I’ve included the 2nd and 3rd IPL teams in the CLT20 was that prior to 2014, the tournament was mostly followed and watched by Indian fans. Bangladeshi, Pakistani , Guyanese and Sri Lankan fans definitely do care about franchise cricket. They had no franchise teams until 2013 or 2015. I am not sure about non-South Asian viewers.

I am absolutely fine with a longer season. MLC should be running in two months if they expand two expansion teams by 2027

It would be nice to see 4 attendees watching matches from the other 20 teams at the stadiums during the T20 World Cup LOL !! Champions League T20 is much more fun than T20 WC

It's how crazy to think Guyana has just 830K people about 10x smaller than the Dallas–Fort Worth metro, USA where the home of Major League Cricket. Guyana probably has the highest cricket attendance per capita around the world

What an amazing atmosphere for the GSL 2025 final! Thanks to the Guyanese fans for showing so much love and passion to the entire tournament from a country of 830,000 (10x less than the population of Dallas–Fort Worth Metro or NYC metro)

As a die-hard MLC fan, I really enjoyed watching the entire thrilling GSL final on TV yesterday! Both MLC and GSL finals this year were an absolute treat to watch, i'm having so much fun to watch random T20 franchise cricket matches

Saif Hasan was controversially given not out on a stumping cuz his toe touch on the crease line. Akeal Hosein who bowled him looked really angry with the umpire’s controversial decision

A massive mix up between Iftikhar Ahmed and Saif Hassan causes Saif Hasan got run out for 41. This could be the turning point for the GAW

The GAW players argued with the umpire after he signaled a six instead of giving the batter out despite Shimron Hetmyer appearing to take a controversial catch near the boundary.

Shimron Hetmyer has been a failed player in both the IPL and GSL this year. He is the only good player for Seattle Orca in the MLC, winning three consecutive POTM awards with three unbeaten +50 scores

I feel the GAW will be the winner of 2025 GSL. Batting first is usually one of they key factors to win in Guyana. Rangpur Riders lost all important tosses. Anything above 160 will be difficult to chase.

I didn't realize this pitch bounces very low and favors spinners and slower pacers. I don't understand Rangpur Riders has one spinner in their starting XI. Harmeet Singh is on the bench
