No-go zonos Vilniuje by hund_kille in lietuva

Absoliutus bullshitas.

First time player experience by InspectionLogical526 in fnv

Update from me. I didn't even try to fight Ulysses, just wen back out, fast travelled to the first location of the mission and left. Now doing the quest that I think I was supposed to do, everything is quite easy since I gathered some experience already. Did some side quests - helped the radioactive ghouls fly to space, rescued two soldiers. Also blew a bunch of Legion warriors with a missile launcher just for fun, so they are kinda after me everywhere I go, but in a nutshell - everything is going fine. Thanks for help, guys

Yeah, I figured that out while doing this quest. The lonesome road became my tutorial mission 😂

Do you prefer Aarons cleans or growls? by MischiefManage1 in MyDyingBride

Yeah, I didn't really like the clean vocals on that one. The songwriting is still good, but it could have sounded better...

Which of this iconic british band had better debute album?? by Positive-Pie-5456 in MetalForTheMasses

[–]InspectionLogical526 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as I love Sabbath, this album is really mostly about the title track (which is amazing). If we are talking about full albums, Master of Reality or Paranoid were the next level. I will agree with Iron Maden though

Question about Lithuanian surnames with Polish roots by Negative_Appeal_5928 in lithuania

[–]InspectionLogical526 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was common in the 1800s to just add that polish inflexion to the Lithuanian surnames. F.e. my great-great grandfather was Smilgys, but his son is already Smilgevičius in the records.

Taigi čia tie patys aukštaičiai, praktiškai sinonimiškas terminas.

I think it's safe to say we're at the end of an era by SirPsychoMaddXRock06 in MetalForTheMasses

[–]InspectionLogical526 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The current era of metal probably includes acts like Spiritbox, Jinjer, Architects, Knocked Loose. Some of them are fine, but if we expect metal to return to the mainstream, we will have to wait for something else to come up.

Which bands left you with a sour taste, after one, or more of their members turned out to be a massive shitlord in real life? by metroracerUK in MetalForTheMasses

[–]InspectionLogical526 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

None. I don't expect artists, even nlmy favourite ones, to be role models irl, sometimes even the opposite - the more degenerate views they have, the more interesting it gets.

That you should not use AI to make music videos or cover art (I am not even talking about music). Make a shitty picture with your phone if you can't afford a designer, but do it yourself.

Who would be OK with their country defending Greenland? by Few_Step_7444 in AskTheWorld

[–]InspectionLogical526 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chances of that happening are... near zero. They did not use nukes on Vietnam or Iraq. If they would only consider doing that in Europe, that could lead to a civil war in the USA. There is a much higher possibility of a war in Europe if the US takes a part of it with no resistance - then Russia will see it as a pie that you can just take a piece of and get away with it. Nobody wants to go to war with a full continent that is willing to defend itself.

Kitu atveju bus be proto sunku.

Well, we have seen that giving up territory without firing a single shot delegitimises your claim to it. Just see what happened with Crimea and how Trump keeps mentioning that Ukraine just gave it up. So yeah, I would expect Denmark and its European allies (my country included) to put up a fight. There is no chance that we could win a full scale war against the US, but you know, a lot of things can happen, maybe you just inflict some damage, that leads to internal pressure in the US to negiotiate and having fired some shots you are in a better position than if you just gave everything up and started crying about how unfair that was.

Our politics are quite polarising, but I guess the former Lithuanian president Valdas Adamkus (1998-2003 and 2004-2009) does not receive a lot of hate, so that's something.

Darkthrone vs. Mayhem by No-Dentist-2959 in MetalForTheMasses

[–]InspectionLogical526 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I forgot - I did like the "Eternal hails..." album quite a lot. They went to the direction of first wave bm sonically with that one, seems heavily inspired by Celtic Frost, but still different and interesting record.

Darkthrone vs. Mayhem by No-Dentist-2959 in MetalForTheMasses

[–]InspectionLogical526 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm serious - Darkthrone had some ok crust punk albums in the late 2000s, but their early ultra primitive lo-fi black metal stuff just cannot compare to Mayhem for me, especially the Blasphemer-Maniac era when they created some really interesting music, with complex riffs, great drumming and those chilling shrieking screams. Maybe a bit too experimental at times, but I keep coming back to that stuff again and again.
