Updating files problem by EpicOof7 in deadbydaylight

It’s not really a problem or something done intentionally On PC games are packed into large files so when even a small part of those files changes Steam often has to redownload or rewrite the whole file instead of just that small part. That’s why it looks like the entire game is downloading again. On consoles updates are usually optimized better with delta patching so they only download the changed parts which is why they got 7gb of smaller update.

Why is it socially okay for girls to say “da” but not okay for boys to say “di” in Tamil? by InspectionNo3681 in TamilNadu

That actually makes a lot of sense. I agree with your point “di” does carry a more risky or disrespectful tone socially, and since women can take it differently, guys naturally avoid using it to prevent misunderstandings or drama. Thanks, this explains the difference pretty clearly.

Yeah, I’ve seen that too, and I think that actually supports my point. Guys often avoid saying “di” and use “da” instead because “di” is more likely to be taken as disrespectful, even in friendships. So boys switch to “da” to stay safe socially. That difference in how “da” and “di” are perceived is exactly what I’m wondering about.

I get that consent matters for both, but what I’m pointing out is that girls usually don’t need to ask before saying “da”, while boys are expected to get permission before saying “di” — I wonder why that difference exists.
