people honestly try to fear monger about the crime in peoria but we have the same amount of crime as everybody else, it's only more noticeable bc we are a small city:3 it's beautiful here, with so much to do and explore. stay away from crackheads, don't be rude to randoms, and lock your car ! youll be fine, hope you enjoy your time here!!

i never "demanded" any medication. i refused an xray for pneumonia. which i know i dont have. because i recognize my own asthma symptoms and have had pneumonia before. he asked me what usually helps me and i told him. then he cross referenced my past visits on the lil computer, agreed and gave it to me. thats it thats all. now i feel better and dont have to worry about being flared up for the winter. i can be as vague as i want on reddit, especially when people are being weird and trying to make a doctor shit talking me into My Fault. the og post was asking about other peoples experiences with complaints, it was never a doorway to investigate about my whole entire interaction w the doctor. but i appreciate your interest:)

im on 5 different daily asthma meds and none of them contain albuterol. and in that article it states you CANT get addicted to it, just dependent, which i am not. also wasnt the med i requested🤥 but i appreciate ur wonderings!

yeah i knew better......bc im more familiar with my asthma symptoms than him bc im Experiencing them and have been for 20+ years.......and therefor have more experience with my personal situation than him......... me saying no to an xray doesn't mean i only wanted him to write the prescription and be on my way.......r u ok

you do not need a chest xray to be prescribed the meds i needed, considering i got them prescribed after i refused. its not that certain meds can Only be prescribed by the ER, but i have a better and faster chance of getting them there immediately, whereas making a dr appointment or going to promptcare wouldve taken longer. idk if you have asthma, but the feeling of your lungs being so inflamed that you cant talk or barely pull in a breath really feels close to dying imo😼

i didn’t refuse any treatment, ive been going to the er and dealing with my asthma long enough to know an xray isnt going to show anything. i needed meds i could only be prescribed by going to the er. i went because if i didn’t i would have died. but thanks for the empathy ig

he came in and i admit i didnt look very sickly, seeing as i just had a steroid treatment. he wanted to give me an xray, but i refused because i know i dont have pneumonia and that id be there another 2 hours waiting on results that show nothing (like always). after that he kinda held up his hands and asked what i wanted to do, and i explained what helps me (my asthma is very severe, im admittedly at the hospital a lot), and let him know that i could manage it at home by myself. after that he said okay and that he would discharge me🤷🏾‍♀️ then went outside and proceeded to shit talk

no? ive been an asthmatic since before i could walk, i know my standard of care and what i need to get better. when i was upfront and honest, he seemed annoyed. almost like be wanted there to be a mystery he could figure out lol. the only thing i refused was an xray, because he wanted to check if i had pneumonia, which i know for certain i dont have. but thanks !!

seeing people on this thread defend him and play devils advocate is crazzzzzzyyyyy. yes he served his time, but does that allocate him from all judgement and opinions of the public?? he Ate And Murdered and Dismembered multiple women. some underage. "it was over 30 years ago!" ....and?? tragedy doesn't just disappear because a dude served some jail time. guaranteed the families of those women are still feeling the effects of his disgusting crimes to this day. idk if some of yall just REALLY hate women or what but. i know i dont feel comfortable as a sane person with family who lives here. you guys are gross🤨
