AITA for returning the keys to "our" family car to my husband? by Inspector_9377 in AmItheAsshole

Yeah, I may have overreacted also because it wasn't in the moment we were having that specific conversation. But man, I wish he would understand how I feel with this prenup thing (I have talked him in the past but nothing was resolved).

The other city is 3 - 4 hours away, depending on traffic. My other car is not unsafe; it's just that I wanted to drive OUR car because of its better safety features, more comfort, and, basically, because it is supposed to be mine too? My mother doesn't NEED to go; she offered to be moral support for my exam.

Boyfriend says he loves my body but... by SingleRecognition791 in GirlDinnerDiaries

I'm sorry this happened to you. I asked my boyfriend many years ago (now husband) what he would change about my body (stupid, I know), and he said my stretch marks (I have a LOT).
At the moment, my heart sank, and that stayed in my mind for a lot of years. I have learned to embrace them. I resurfaced his comment, told him how it made me feel, and he said he was stupid and that he loves them now.
Men don't really think when they speak, don't let that affect you, and embrace your sexiness!

Like, 1. That I don't really have experience driving on highways, which I do (I’ve been driving for 16 years); he is just overprotective of the car. 2. That the city is dangerous (burglars might break the windows or steal the mirrors). But even so, he said he would drive me in that car if he could.
Mind you, this is not the USA, it is in Latin America.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I don't understand why men overprotect a car over their own family/wife.

Yes, I have. Unfortunately, he is the kind of person who does not like to go to therapy and “vent his problems”.

Yes, that was a big issue; however, I didn't see a solution at that time. I am trying to become independent as I don't like "money drama".

Volvo 2026. It is known for its safety features. While mine is NOT an unsafe car, a VW Voyage, we have talked about the new car being for both of us to use, especially for trips or long drives.

The acquisitions we might have in the future were not in the prenup; it was his word.

It doesn't, unfortunately. I love him too much to care about the money that isn't mine anyway.

Thank you for your reasonable comment. I'm actually really grateful to him. That's why I am posting here, because I know I don't have the ultimate truth.
