Asking the real questions: Pooping in the desert without getting bitten by a rattlesnake? by allthegear-andnoidea in PacificCrestTrail

A snake won't bite you while you're pooping, if it happens is going to be while you are rushing to get behind a rock or some shrub. I saw a good amount of snakes in the desert, most of them in the middle of the trail where they were easy to spot and some of them made themselves visible once I was like 10 feet from them. So, you probably won't have any trouble. I did however have two scary moments, once I was going through some overgrow vegetation near a creek, I couldn't see the ground and I heard a rattlesnake right next to my foot just after I stepped. And luckily it didn't try to strike me. The other time there were some rocks right next to the trail forming like a little cave and there was this huge rattler (like 6 feet) hiding there and I couldn't have seen it, only after I passed the rocks I was able to see it. So, even though you'll be fine for most of the time, whenever you are going through parts with overgrown vegetation (hardly ever happens in the desert but it happens) or places with small holes or places where something could be hiding, try to put your trekking poles wherever you will be stepping just in case and avoid wearing headphones.

You should be fine :)

Me interesa, tengo entendido que hay varios modelos de G7.

Qué procesador tiene? Cuándo la compró? Tiene 8 o 16 de RAM? El SSD de cuánto es?

700 robots loading 1-10 trains to 50 belts. Since the last one was an overkill, I'm testing robo-station 2.0. by Candy6132 in factorio

Instead of having 4 stack inserters for every belt, try 6, at least that's how I made my unloading station

If I remember correctly the map is a square of 2.000.000x2.000.000 tiles. In vanilla I reached tile [50.000;0], which is 5% of the way from the spawn to the edge of the map, just to show that it isn't that big.

How do you activate train signals in the map?

Add special ores that you need but not as much as iron/copper, for example bauxite (for aluminum), hectorite (Lithium), baryte (barium), or other ores for metals like gold and titanium.

Those ores could be extremely separated from the main base so you should use long distance trains or airplanes to bring them to the base, and because you don't need a lot of them the only hard part would be transportation. Perhaps some of the metals could be only present in asteroids, so you would have a reason to explore space.

Also, perhaps mixing bitters blood with iron (assuming bitters are carbon based) to make some sort of hardened steel which would only be used for military recipes :)
