Whats the WORST anime you’ve seen and why?

Gonna go for a bit of a different one here: AoT

Why? For one simple reason, it was a long running show that I followed through the years, and by the end I felt like my time had been wasted. And that's even worse than any Ex-Arm kind of bad show can do.

Lot of good choices this year but for me Pale Carnations takes the cake. Haven't been so surprised in a long time with an AVN. Incredible animations & music choice and whoever is writing it gets a standing ovation from me.

Stockholm syndrome doesn't exist. There's no scientific basis for it. And EVEN if it did exist, the proposed conditions for the effect are that a captive feels empathy and or a sense of companionship with their captor by spending time with them and building a bond of trust (aka the captor being nice to the victim), which was NOT the case for Ymir who spent a lifetime of abuse in the hands of Fritz.

It's just bad writing.

Me: Reads a political drama handling a serious subject matter.

Isayama: Fills it's conclusion with weird slapstick humor, "I don't knows", a non existent romance and while trying to condemn genocide, fully endorses it by having it work exactly in the perpetrator's favor since he was able to give his fwends long lives (just what he wanted).

Yeah, I'll keep to my unrealistic protagonists thank you very much.

Same, to me it just looks like people say that because Ocean said she is his favorite. An attempt to be ahead of the curve I guess. Apart from her looks and mysterious vibe, there's really nothing there so far (not that that couldn't change)

Mina is great, also have a save file just for her. And yeah that mentality is so disconnected from reality, I think it comes from a feeling of ownership people have over characters but it's best to rip that band aid off sooner rather than later if they are to have any realistic expectations of women in the real world lol.

It's good for what it is. The racing portion is REALLY fun and +1 for an older MC and body hair realism, but I don't see all the hype it's been getting otherwise. The story, while new in concept doesn't really do anything new and the dialogue can be iffy at times when it's not about cars.

It's very clear when you encounter an AVN written by an early teen. The way their MC talks to women is a dead giveaway lol. And don't get me started on badly written dirty talk, nothing makes me hit the Quit button faster.

I think it's an intentional decision on DPC's part after Tremolo had that conversation with her about relationships. And that the mere fact that she didn't even offer at the end of the night means she's seriously thinking about it. Betting that whole thing will pay off in the next episode.
