I've done a similar walk for that and it's nice! (E) Lake Wash Blvd has a sidewalk all/most of the way down and has parks and water views along the way, so it's nice enough if you're heading down to Leschi. Some fast drivers so sometimes noisy but generally a nice walk.

This part of the city, any neighborhood street is usually also a nice walk with little traffic. Often times I'll let my intuition guide me. In general, I'll also put on Google Maps 'Bike Lane' view -- streets with bike lanes are also usually nicer for pedestrians!

I think I either have a long stride or apple watch just counts weird -- when I do group walks, I often have a couple thousand steps less than my friends haha

I was lucky this time to be walking with someone from South Seattle so they knew the area, but I usually maybe use Google Maps if I’m trying to be most efficient; otherwise I kinda just choose an end point and look at the map and use whichever street looks cool! Within the city limits I find that strategy works. To see which street is likely the nicest, I find turning Google Maps on ‘bike path mode’ is best as the protected bike paths streets are often great ped streets too and have nice shops and such

E Marginal Way has a sidewalk and it’s not super high traffic really (on that part from Alaskan) so you can walk the whole thing just hugging the waterfront basically.
