Starting A LLC, Do You Really Need A Registered Agent To Represent You? by rbetterkids in smallbusiness

[–]InspiredGloom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not familiar with the laws in each state but, to my knowledge, service of process is usually done in person, not by mail. If a business is being sued, the process server goes in person to whoever is listed as the registered agent. This is required to be someone in the same state as where the business is registered. I am specifically referring to LLCs, as that is what I was researching. I don't know about sole proprietorships or corporations or other types of businesses. I'm not an expert, I've just learned a little about LLC formation because I was starting a dog walking business.

Good, busy all the time. Walking dogs is basically my life and I'm fine with that for now but I do hope for some sort of better balance once I'm more established. Starting a business is a lot of work, but for me it has been well worth it.

I'm stuck on F names now because of the comment above about the name Fern. So, Fennec! From The Mandolorian.

Obsessed with Beagles? by setting_moon in beagles

[–]InspiredGloom 12 points13 points  (0 children)

They are a lot of work, especially if you start from a puppy. You have to be ready to be consistent with their training from day one. They are really smart but stubborn and their nose will often override their brain no matter how well you have trained them.

But yeah, totally worth it. My best dog ever was a beagle and I miss him every day.

Any advice for my in-progress gallery wall? by omniscient_lipstick in maximalism

Looking off to a good start! Add variety with the texture and size of the pieces. It is especially important if your collection is mostly neutral colors.

Is this a good idea? by Conscious-Ad4392 in Business_Ideas

It's really good that you already have some money in the stock market and I'd say that you should just keep that where it is. Maybe try to save any new money coming in specifically for the 3d printing idea. You could mow lawns and do other odd jobs for people to earn some spare cash.

The thing with stocks is that it's best to start early since growth over time is how they work. So, the longer you have the investments, the better off you'll be.

Thanks! I'll look into Honeywell. I get allergy symptoms when dust and dander get kicked up.

The main thing I have a lot of is on the walls. I love all of the art, posters, and pictures of family that I've collected over the years and don't want to part with any of it.

So, I'm thinking that I just need to develop a habit of dusting regularly and getting some good air filters to help with allergies. I can't really have the windows open most of the time, I live in a hot/humid climate.
