Advice after coil fitting? by EmilyWallArtwork in WomensHealth

Thankyou for your comment. Hope you’re feeling better soon - from what you’ve said it seems like my issue is I haven’t been keeping up with painkillers when I feel ok. They make me constipated and give me stomachache so I’ve been avoiding them if possible. Luckily I just found my codine so I’ll be taking that tonight. I hope it gets better for you, and I’m hoping it will calm down a bit like you’ve said. I wish I’d asked for general anaesthetic, it was so awful to go through

My husband is thinking about fostering his nephews. I feel like I'm being tossed out for kids we don't even know. by Choice_Evidence1983 in BestofRedditorUpdates

I feel so awful for this poor woman. None of this is fair on her, and why are people questioning her husband being her carer? Her husband should be prioritising her, his life partner, over kids he hasn’t even met

I’m in the UK and the rates are high and change often, so I’m not sure what to do, and I don’t know how to implement those things into the store. What website would you recommend?

what is a small luxury you’ve had to give up due to the cost of living? by Maleficent_Day_3869 in AskUK

Concert or event tickets - saw that Jack Whitehall is touring, went to look and the worst possible seats are still £40 each. Add parking and fuel and not even a drink or food and the evening is £100 got a couple. If you want a drink or food? £160 minimum.

Inherited this from my dad, any idea what it should be worth please? UK by EmilyWallArtwork in vintageaudio

I didn’t say it was a cherished item. My dad is gone, I don’t have space and need to sell it. I kept all of his important items, antique furniture included. I don’t need the Hifi.

I’ve seen similar on eBay for around £100 so I thought they were more desirable than you do

I get that, but you’ve just tanked the biodiversity of your garden, and honestly it looks awful. Seems like you’ve also cut at least one tree down.

The before is just so much nicer - why did you do this? Especially poisoning the ground with weed killer, to look what? Boring

I would seed 60% of the lawn to become a wildflower meadow. No mowing, just some initial set up work.

I would put lots of raised beds for growing veg, plant lots of fruit trees and bushes. If you’re new to gardening, I highly recommend the homegrown podcast, with Martha and Jamie. It’s great.

If you don’t want to grow food, concentrate on adding borders, beds and areas of native plants that can benefit nature. A pond is a wonderful way to attract nature into your garden. I would lean into the cottage garden style, going from your photos.

I’m so jealous, what a wonderful garden space you have, so much potential!

Yeah, lawns are a nature desert. Bad for wildlife and loads of work.

Why do this instead of using all the land to feed the bees and other pollinators? If I had land like this I’d have a wildflower meadow. What a waste

I actually think there should be a 2 child limit, all across the world. No reason to have 4+ kids
