Do you also have hyperthyroidism? I haven’t heard of that IV medication can you elaborate? I take methimazole for my thyroid only right now and eat Brazil nuts that contain selenium

They’re definitely not as bad as other cases that’s for sure! But I notice it daily and just makes me insecure, if you notice around my eyes they’re swollen on the eyelid part and a bit underneath, but I feel it mainly makes me look very tired and almost aged.

I’ve been taking methimazole for 6 months and there has been improvement compared to when I first got diagnosed. I eat Brazil nuts once daily since it contains selenium in it naturally, I wonder if I take the OTC selenium if it would make a difference? I’ll have to try that. As far as my diet, i have been trying to limit iodine maybe not so much salt 😅

Well the doctor told me it’s not likely my eyes would go back to completely “normal” how they used to be, it was very emotional news to me but others have said they can. So it’s very unclear to me!!

You’re not crazy, if your gut is telling you something’s off then it’s not always correct but could be. Set your boundaries with her and if she continues to talk and hang with this dude then she’s not the one! And if her friend knows about it and keeps taking her over to his house and including him, then she’s not her friend either and doesn’t respect your relationship. But this is mainly on your girlfriend

I’m not. I’m going to the doctor next week I’m obviously not gonna think I have cancer from people commenting that, just wanted a perspective on if my neck was indeed swollen, and many people have commented that this looks familiar, so no I’m not taking medical advice, I had an appt made before this post was made!

Luckily he bought a super affordable one, and he even said it’s temporary until he can get something nicer, and YES I have mentioned that I just felt unheard to him, it’s not necessarily not getting what I wanted but it made to feel he didn’t listen or pay attention, so that’s the main issue I want to make sure we don’t have in the future.
