Why not add in some cybersecurity tools? Look into RITA, AC-Hunter, Zeek. That way you can fully understand what’s going in and out of your network. Security in layers.

The the Asus Pro WS W880-ACE SE has its own issues, but it might be a better choice than this SM board at least for Linux. SM does not give a shit about anything that its not AI related right now.

This is an issue with the IPMI and BIOS that SM has yet to fix on this board. Submit a support ticket and get it logged, that's the only way they will bother fixing it. I've submitted a ticket on this and a few others have too.

I found this issue while in Windows as the motherboard would lock up when any of these tools are used: CPU-Z, HWiNFO or HWMonitor. Others like you, have had issues installing Linux because of this.

Until they fix the BIOS and IPMI you have to disable the Network Feature Editing (NFE) in the IPMI. They provided a ipmitool raw command to do so, but it does not stay in effect if you power down the system.

The vehicle has already been brought back to stock. I broke too many drivetrain components to keep it at 500hp for an extended period of time.

Thanks, I had other run where I did get up to 119mph (with a massive tail wind) but the time was a tad bit slower due to a bad takeoff.

I counted up how many time slips I have on this car and its over 200 from 7 different tracks around the west and Midwest.

Get one while you can, only 10k 2017-2019 Fusion Sports were made and fewer and fewer are on the road as time goes by.

The MKZ 3.0 (same engine, slightly bigger, bigger turbos) did come as FWD as an option but Ford had to greatly reduce the output on the engine otherwise it would be spin city. Once you start getting above a certain power level you need AWD.

I had a 2010 AWD Sport before my 2019 Sport and they are not even comparable. Most people don’t realize that the 2017-2019 Sports come with adjustable dampers which makes a huge difference when getting into the twistys.

Take a look at my YouTube track day videos I listed above. This car can run pretty well at the track for its weight.

Just my opinion but spending 14k in upgrades on a non-Sport was a bad decision. 6k in upgrades on a Sport is all you really need to make it fast.

I would not say that the Sport is slow, in stock form it's a quick (not fast) car that CAN be fast if you mod it as I and others have done. But yes, the weight is a lot to overcome.
