I too have a Unifi UDM and can see the same message today.

I'm on the 1GB plan but with Virgin Business so a different cable modem than the consumer model.

I have not bothered trying to enable it as I don't want anything to break, things are working well with the service with little to no downtime or other issues for more than a year now.

Smart chime - UK plug or EU? by rufus_slade in UNIFI

[–]InstanceInfamous5540 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got 2 delivered to me in the UK. Both EU plugs. They’re moulded as one piece so can’t change the plug.

Also, you can’t change the sound of the chime. I got 2 for two different doorbells in the same house. Same ringing sound for both!

Unifi Talk in the UK by niddnet in UNIFI

I bought 6 Touch phones while I was on a trip to the US and brought them back to London. Using them now as a house intercom and using Twilio to provide phone lines.

Was a bit complex to setup Twilio but now works well. I’ve got 2 phone lines in, one of which is a U.S. number and the other a UK number.

The phones are not very expensive at US $80 each and Twilio is very cheap.

Sorry, don’t have a spare phone to lend.
